Day 1 - Arrive in Manila
Upon arrival, independently make you way to your hotel. The rest of the day is at leisure.
Day 2 - Discover Manila
After breakfast, today’s tour begins at the financial district of Makati including Fort Bonifacio and the American Cemetery, before continuing to the city of Manila, the country’s capital. See Rizal Park, named in honour of the national hero, Dr. Jose Rizal. Proceed to the historic walled city of Intramuros and travel along cobbled streets to San Agustin Church, the country’s oldest stone church, and visit Casa Manila, a 19th-century reproduction house. Continue to Fort Santiago, the city’s main line of defence, then drive to Quiapo, Manila’s bustling central district, before ending at the Chinese Cemetery with its elaborate mausoleums.
Day 3 - Fly to Cebu
Manila - Cebu. This morning after breakfast, transfer to the airport for your flight to the island of Cebu. Upon arrival, you will be transferred to your hotel for check in. Enjoy the remainder of the day at leisure.
Day 4 - Bohol Excursion
Cebu - Bohol - Cebu. Depart early for a full-day trip to Bohol, an island rich in natural beauty and history. Visit the Philippine Tarsier Foundation in Corella to see the world’s smallest primates, then stop at the Blood Compact site and Baclayon Church.
Continue through the man-made mahogany forest to the Chocolate Hills viewpoint to admire this geological wonder. Enjoy a river cruise with lunch along the Loboc River before returning to Cebu.
Day 5 - Leisure in Cebu
Enjoy your day at leisure or perhaps join one of the optional tours below.
Optional: Full Day Twin City Discovery Tour
Visit the Alegre Guitar Factory to see master guitar makers at work before exploring historic landmarks such as Mactan Shrine, Fort San Pedro, Magellan’s Cross, and Basilica Minore del Sto. Niño. See the Cebu Heritage Monument, Yap-San Diego Ancestral House, Casa Gorordo Museum, and the Taoist Temple.
Full Day South Countryside Tour
Travel through South Cebu to see Spanish-era architecture in Carcar and visit local markets to sample delicacies such as chicharron and ampao. Learn about local craftsmanship at cottage industries, then visit the Jumalon Butterfly Sanctuary and its unique art gallery of butterfly-wing mosaics.
Day 6 - Return to Manila
Cebu - Manila. Today, you will be transferred back to the airport for your flight to Manila. Upon arrival, you will be met and transferred to your hotel. Enjoy the rest of the day at leisure or perhaps join the optional evening activity below.
Optional: Fiesta Filipina Show
Enjoy a short drive through Intramuros’ cobbled streets before arriving at a traditional Filipino restaurant. Experience an evening of local cuisine, dance and music showcasing Filipino creativity and culture.
Day 7 - Depart Manila
After breakfast, independently make you way to the airport.
