What to pack for Saudi Arabia
Planning a trip to Saudi Arabia and not sure what to pack? This guide is here to help you make sure you don’t forget anything important on your adventure. If you’re looking for a tour itinerary to Saudi Arabia, be sure to look through our tour offerings and find the perfect itinerary for you.
Clothes
Saudi Arabia is a warm climate, so it’s recommended you pack loose clothes made from light breathable fabrics. For the nights, especially in the cooler months (Sep-Feb) you should pack light layers for when it gets a little cooler. Women should pack long sleeve full length tops, ankle length trousers or skirts, comfortable shoes, and a light scarf to cover your hair when visiting religious sites. Men should pack long trousers, lightweight t-shirts with sleeves that cover your shoulders, comfortable shoes, and light layers.
Documents
When visiting Saudi Arabia you should bring your passport with at least 6 months left before its expiry date, the appropriate visa, ID, and contact numbers. You should also consider bringing copies of important documents such as, flight information, trip itineraries, travel insurance policies, any prescriptions you need and local emergency numbers.
Electronics
For your trip to Saudi Arabia you should remember to bring your phone, phone charger, power bank and universal adapter for Type G plugs. You might also want to bring a personal camera, earbuds or a tablet. Be aware that electronics such as vapes and commercial photography equipment (such as drones) are often not permitted into Saudi Arabia.
Toiletries
Some toiletries you might want to pack for your trip to Saudi Arabia include: toothbrush, toothpaste, deodorant, shampoo & conditioner, hairbrush, feminine hygiene products, lip balm, SPF, after-sun, anti-chafe cream, hair ties, makeup remover, plasters/band aids and perfume.
