Day 3 - Barcelona city tour

Costa Brava - Barcelona - Costa Brava. Today after breakfast, we explore the vibrant Catalan capital, Barcelona, for the day. We will kick off our adventure with a panoramic coach tour of this cosmopolitan city, taking in sights such as the Barceloneta neighbourhood, Montjuic mountain, the Olympic Stadium, and Plaza d'Espanya. Then we head to the city centre where we continue with a guided walking tour of the iconic Gothic Quarter. Known as Barri Gotic, it forms the heart of the old city, with many buildings dating back to medieval times and even the Roman era. The area is a maze of narrow streets branching off Las Ramblas, often opening into squares with churches and basilicas.
Day 4 - Exploring Montserrat & Cava

Costa Brava - Montserrat - Penedes Region - Costa Brava. We continue to explore and uncover the beauty of Catalonia today. Our day begins with a visit to the mountaintop location of Montserrat, home to the stunning Benedictine Abbey of Santa Maria de Montserrat. Our expert local guide will take us on a cable car ride to the abbey and explain the significance of this religious and historic site.
You will then have the freedom to explore the abbey or the on-site museum, or perhaps take a funicular to the highest point of the mountain range, where you can admire spectacular views of Barcelona and the coast.

This afternoon we learn about the famous figures of Catalonia in the town of Figueres, where we visit the Dali Museum. Salvador Dali was born in Figueres and is widely regarded as one of the most influential surrealist artists of his time. This museum, which showcased the young Dali’s first exhibitions, now displays the largest and most diverse collection of his works, including his paintings, films, sculptures, and photography. We return to our hotel along the Costa Brava for the evening.

Your guided tour takes in an exterior walk around its two magnificent façades, each richly detailed and strikingly different in style.
The afternoon is yours to enjoy at your own pace. You might choose to head inside the Sagrada Familia to discover its remarkable interior — tickets must be booked in advance, and your guide will be happy to assist.
