Day 1 - Washington DC
Welcome to Washington, D.C. Upon arrival, we’ll arrange your transfer to the hotel, after which you’ll have some leisure time to explore or unwind as you wish. You’ll receive essential information about your itinerary either in the afternoon or via displays at the hotel reception. In the evening, we'll provide a transfer to the lively district of Georgetown. Known for its bustling atmosphere, this area is filled with bars and restaurants to explore at your leisure. After an exciting start to your journey, you'll return to your accommodation for the night. Please note: This tour may have travellers joining or departing at various points along the route, meaning group composition can change during the tour. Please also be aware that depending on group composition, guiding may be in additional languages as well as English.
Day 2 - Washington DC
Following breakfast, we set off to explore Washington, D.C. We begin our tour by passing the Pentagon, situated en route in Virginia, and pause for photographs at the iconic Iwo Jima Memorial. Our journey continues with visits to the Lincoln Memorial, as well as the Korea and Vietnam Memorials. A stop is also scheduled at the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts. We will have the opportunity to take photos at the White House and then proceed to circle the Capitol, culminating our tour in Washington's museum district. In the afternoon, we embark on a scenic boat trip along the Potomac River, allowing us to admire some of the city's prominent landmarks from the water. Following the cruise, we will return to the hotel. In the evening, you might choose to partake in an optional night tour of Washington, which promises to offer a unique perspective of the city before we return to our accommodation. Please note: the Potomac River cruise does not operate from October to March due to weather conditions.
Day 3 - Washington DC - Lancaster - New York
Following breakfast, we set off from Washington, D.C. towards Lancaster, where you'll have the chance to observe the unique way of life in the Amish community, which still adheres to 18th-century traditions. We will pause for lunch during our journey. Our travels continue to New York, with an estimated arrival time in the afternoon.
Day 4 - New York
Following breakfast, we will embark on an extensive panoramic tour of New York City, exploring the diverse neighbourhoods of Manhattan. Highlights will include Wall Street, the dynamic hub of finance; Rockefeller Center, a revered cultural and entertainment complex; and the iconic St. Patrick’s Cathedral. In addition, you will experience the tranquillity of Central Park, the vibrant Columbus Circle, and the impressive AOL/Time Warner Building. Our journey continues through the eclectic cultural quarter of Greenwich Village, Little Italy with its authentic charm, and Battery Park, where you'll have a splendid view of the Statue of Liberty. In the evening, we will provide a transfer to the bustling centre of Times Square, known for its dazzling Broadway musicals and striking lights. Please note, if your hotel is located in the Times Square area, a separate transfer will not be necessary.
Day 5 - New York - Boston
Today, we set off for Boston, Massachusetts. Upon arrival around midday, we'll embark on a panoramic tour of this historically significant city, pivotal in America’s quest for independence. Our exploration will include visits to Beacon Hill, the prestigious Harvard University, the serene gardens of Boston Common, and the architecturally stunning Trinity Church. The tour concludes at Quincy Market, a lively hub by the docks teeming with shops and eateries, where you can enjoy some free time to explore at your leisure. Later, we will return to our hotel for the evening.
Day 6 - Boston - Woodstock - Montreal
After breakfast, we journey through two of the most scenic states in the Eastern United States: New Hampshire and Vermont. Our first stop is Woodstock, Vermont, a charming town renowned for its beautifully restored Georgian houses. After enjoying the picturesque surroundings, we continue our drive, crossing the Canadian border until we arrive in Montreal. Once there, we settle into our accommodation for the evening.
Day 7 - Montreal - Quebec
After a morning breakfast, we embark on a panoramic tour of Montreal, allowing you to soak in the city's vibrant charm. Highlights include a visit to Parc Mont Royal, offering splendid city views, the architectural beauty of St. Joseph's Oratory, and the graceful Cathedral. After enjoying lunch, we depart for Quebec. Upon arrival, you will settle into your accommodation, ready to explore more of this historic region.
Day 8 - Quebec
Following breakfast, we embark on a panoramic tour of Quebec City, where you'll explore its most iconic landmarks. We'll visit the stunning Ch?teau Frontenac, the historical Place Royale, the spiritual site of Sainte-Anne-de-Beaupr?, and the impressive Citadelle. In the afternoon, you have some free time to continue your exploration. We suggest a visit to the breathtaking Montmorency Falls, where you can admire the natural beauty and enjoy the surrounding parklands at your leisure.
Day 9 - Quebec - Sainte-Agathe-des-Monts - Mont-Tremblant - Ottawa
Following breakfast, we'll embark on a journey through the picturesque Canadian landscapes, featuring the stunning Laurentian Hills. Our first stop will be in the delightful town of Sainte-Agathe-des-Monts. After taking in the scenic beauty and charm of this location, we continue our travels to Mont-Tremblant, renowned for its world-class ski resort. Our day culminates in Canada's capital, Ottawa, where we will settle in for our stay.
Day 10 - Ottawa - Thousand Islands - Toronto
Following breakfast, we embark on a tour of Ottawa, where we will explore the iconic Rideau Canal and the grandiose Parliament Buildings. If you're visiting in July or August, you'll witness the impressive Changing of the Guard ceremony. Our journey then takes us to Gananoque for a picturesque sightseeing cruise, offering breathtaking views of the Saint Lawrence River and the enchanting Thousand Islands. After our river adventure, we proceed southwards, reaching our Toronto hotel in the late afternoon. Accommodations await you there as we settle in for the night.
Day 11 - Toronto
We commence our day in vibrant Toronto with a guided sightseeing tour, taking in the essential landmarks and attractions such as the bustling Chinatown, the impressive City Hall, and the dynamic Financial District. We'll also explore the Eaton Centre and the historic Casa Loma, alongside other key sites. The afternoon is open for you to consider visiting the iconic CN Tower, indulge in some shopping at the Eaton Centre, or wander the extensive Underground City, featuring 25 kilometres of retail galleries beneath the financial district. As the day winds down, you might decide to visit Queens Quay, a bustling area along the waterfront filled with diverse dining options. Accommodation for the evening is provided, allowing you to rest and recharge.
Day 12 - Toronto
Following breakfast, we set off towards the charming town of Niagara-on-the-Lake. Enjoy a leisurely stroll, taking in the quaint surroundings before we proceed to the awe-inspiring Niagara Falls. Our visit includes a photo opportunity at the renowned Floral Clock before embarking on the Hornblower Niagara Cruise. This exhilarating boat ride takes us right to the base of the spectacular falls, offering a unique perspective of this natural wonder. Afterwards, you'll have some free time to explore the attractions along Clifton Hill. In the afternoon, we make our way back to Toronto for the evening. Accommodation is provided.
Day 13 - Toronto
