Welcome to Las Vegas! Upon your arrival, we’ll arrange your transfer to the hotel, where you’ll have some free time to unwind. In the afternoon, you'll receive details about the start of your tour either directly from us or via the information at the hotel reception. Later in the day, we'll embark on an included outing to explore Downtown Las Vegas and the world-famous Strip. This iconic avenue is home to an array of luxurious hotels, bustling casinos, and spectacular shows, transforming the city into an adult playground. For those interested, there’s also an optional evening tour available to experience the dazzling Lights of Las Vegas. Please note: This tour may have travellers joining or departing at various points along the route, meaning group composition can change during the tour. Please also be aware that depending on group composition, guiding may be in additional languages as well as English.

Our day begins with an early departure from Las Vegas as we head towards Arizona. Our first notable stop is in Seligman, a quaint town nestled on the historic Route 66, where you can soak up the nostalgic charm of this iconic highway. We then continue our journey to the awe-inspiring Grand Canyon, one of the world's most remarkable natural wonders and a symbol of the American West. Arriving by mid-morning, we provide entrance to the park and explore with our guide, offering a chance to marvel at the magnificent views from the Bright Angel View Point and Mather Point. These vantage points, perched over 2,000 metres above the Colorado River, offer breathtaking perspectives of the canyon's vast expanse. For those interested in a unique perspective, you have the option to embark on a thrilling plane excursion over the canyon. As the day draws to a close, we transfer to our hotel for a restful evening, reflecting on the day's unforgettable experiences.

After breakfast, we set off from Flagstaff and head towards Nevada. Our route takes us past the impressive Hoover Dam, which you can glimpse from the bus. This major engineering feat is notable for taming the Colorado River and providing hydroelectric power to the region, although we'll not be making a stop. We pause for lunch before resuming our journey to Las Vegas. In the afternoon, we've arranged transport to one of the city's most popular shopping outlets, offering a wide array of retailers and deals. The evening is yours to explore Las Vegas' famed entertainment landscape, with options ranging from concerts and theatres to the spectacular Cirque du Soleil. Enjoy a free night to indulge in the vibrant shows the city is renowned for.

Following a hearty breakfast, we embark on a unique journey through Death Valley, the largest national park in the USA, renowned for its awe-inspiring and rugged landscape. We will pause at Zabriskie Point, famed for its striking vistas over remnants of ancient salt lakes, and visit Badwater Basin, the lowest point in the United States at 85 metres below sea level. Before leaving the park, we'll savour a classic Far West meal. Our route then takes us across the central mountain range, skirting Lake Isabella as we head towards Bakersfield. Please note: due to high temperatures and park closures, our itinerary from June to October will instead include a visit to Calico Ghost Town.

Following breakfast, we embark on a journey that offers a striking contrast to the desert landscapes of the previous day. Departing Bakersfield, we head towards the awe-inspiring Sequoia National Park, home to the magnificent Giant Sequoias. This remarkable forest hosts the General Sherman tree, renowned as the largest tree on Earth. During our visit, you'll have the opportunity to capture photos of this natural wonder and wander among the towering giants. After a fulfilling day immersed in nature, we continue our journey to Fresno, where our day concludes.

After enjoying breakfast, we set off for another of America's iconic natural wonders: Yosemite National Park. This remarkable area is renowned for its stunning cliffs, cascading waterfalls, and lush vegetation, making it one of the most breathtaking mountain landscapes in the world. During our visit, we will explore some of its most famous landmarks, including El Capitan, the Half Dome, and its majestic waterfalls. There will be free time for you to have lunch at your leisure and soak in the surroundings. In the afternoon, we continue our journey to San Francisco, where we are expected to arrive by late afternoon.

After breakfast, we'll embark on an immersive tour of San Francisco. Our journey begins at Union Square, where you'll see the iconic trams, then proceed through the vibrant streets of Chinatown, the bustling Financial District, and the dynamic Theatre District. We'll also explore the Civic Centre and admire the charming Victorian houses at Alamo Square, set against the modern cityscape featured in countless films. Our route takes us through the lively Castro neighbourhood as we ascend Twin Peaks for a sweeping view of the city and its bay. Continuing, we'll wander through the historic, eclectic Haight-Ashbury area and pause at Golden Gate Park. Our tour concludes at the legendary Golden Gate Bridge, an enduring symbol of this iconic city. The afternoon is yours to explore further; perhaps consider an optional excursion to Sausalito, which offers stunning vistas of the city and bay. In the evening, we've arranged a transfer to North Beach, San Francisco's 'Little Italy,' where you'll discover an energetic nightlife scene filled with inviting restaurants.

Following breakfast, we set off for the picturesque town of Monterey. Enjoy a leisurely stroll along Cannery Row, where former canning factories have been transformed into charming restaurants and lively entertainment spaces. After some free time here, we proceed to the charming coastal town of Carmel. Known for its elegant atmosphere, Carmel offers an opportunity to explore its exquisite shops and art galleries. Our journey continues to San Luis Obispo, a delightful destination where we will spend the night.

After breakfast, we depart from San Luis Obispo and make our way towards Los Angeles. En route, we stop at Santa Barbara, a city renowned for its stunning old Mission and picturesque streets lined with Mediterranean-style architecture, shops, and restaurants. Here, you will have some free time to explore and soak up the charming atmosphere. We then continue our journey to Los Angeles. By late afternoon, we include a transfer to Downtown Disney, where you can immerse yourself in the lively ambiance of its vibrant streets and numerous dining options.

Following breakfast, we embark on a panoramic tour of the vast and dynamic city of Los Angeles. Our journey begins with visits to the vibrant music centre, civic centre, and financial district, continuing through LA Live and past the Staples Center. As we travel west along Wilshire Boulevard, we pass through the Korean Quarter and the scenic Brea Ditch before arriving at the iconic neighbourhood of Beverly Hills. From there, we proceed along the legendary Sunset Boulevard, leading us directly to Hollywood. Here, you can explore the famed Walk of Fame, admire the historic Dolby and Chinese Theatres, and catch a view of the legendary Hollywood sign. Enjoy some free time for lunch and exploration at your own pace. Later in the afternoon, we provide transportation to Long Beach, where the stunning blend of palm trees and modern glass architecture awaits. In Shoreline Village, you can spend time walking along the charming promenade and enjoy dinner at the lively eateries, all set against the backdrop of the majestic Queen Mary liner.
