Afterwards we head north to the quaint town of Beauly, where the ruins of Beauly Priory, used as a filming location for Outlander, date back to 1230 AD.
After lunch we visit the mysterious chambered cairns and standing stones of Clava Cairns, followed by Culloden Battlefield, the site of the last battle fought on British soil. Both places provided inspiration for the hit television series Outlander.
