Day 1 - London
Welcome to your exciting journey through some of Europe's most iconic destinations. Upon arrival in London, we will arrange your transfer to the hotel, allowing you some time to settle in and relax. The afternoon is free for you to explore at your leisure, soak in the vibrant London atmosphere, or simply unwind. In the hotel reception area, you will find all the necessary information regarding the start of our tour—be sure to check the boards for any updates or meeting details. Please note: This tour may have travellers joining or departing at various points along the route, meaning group composition can change during the tour. Please also be aware that depending on group composition, guiding may be in additional languages as well as English.
Day 2 - London
In the morning, we embark on an engaging city tour of London, taking in iconic landmarks such as Westminster, the Houses of Parliament, the heart of the City, and the River Thames. Following this, you have the afternoon to explore London at your own pace, or alternatively, join us for an optional excursion to the picturesque Thames Valley. This includes a visit to the town of Windsor, home to the magnificent Windsor Castle. In the evening, we'll gather at Piccadilly for a walking tour that takes us through Leicester Square, Chinatown, and Soho – areas famed for their lively vibe, theatres, and eateries. Occasionally, this evening programme is organised for the previous day, depending on your arrival time in London. After soaking up the vibrant atmosphere, we'll return to the hotel by bus.
Day 3 - London
Today, you have the entire day to explore and soak in the unique charm of London at your own pace. This free day offers you the chance to discover the city's myriad attractions, from its historic landmarks to its vibrant cultural districts. Whether you choose to delve into London's world-class museums, take a leisurely stroll through its charming parks, or explore its diverse neighbourhoods, the city is yours to discover. Enjoy this opportunity to immerse yourself in the rich tapestry of sights and sounds that only London can offer.
Day 4 - London - Calais - Amiens - Paris
We’ll depart London today, embarking on an exciting journey to the continent. Our adventure begins with a ferry crossing to France, where we will make a brief technical stop in Calais. From there, our journey continues to Amiens, a city renowned for its stunning Gothic cathedral. As we explore Amiens, you can stroll through the charming narrow streets, discover the floating gardens, or perhaps visit the former home of Jules Verne, gaining insights into the life of this celebrated author. Later, we'll proceed to Paris, reaching the city by the day's end, ready to delve into the delights of this magnificent capital in the days ahead.
Day 5 - Paris
Today, we’ll delve into the captivating past of France with a visit to the splendid Palace of Versailles, famed for its breathtaking gardens – please note, admission is your responsibility. Upon returning to Paris, we’ll explore Montmartre, a picturesque quarter renowned for its bohemian spirit and vibrant artistic community. Here, you’ll find its streets alive with painters and cabarets. To capture the essence of Paris, a local guide will take us on a panoramic city tour, showcasing the city’s grand avenues and world-famous landmarks. Our day concludes back at the hotel. If you wish to extend your evening, consider attending an optional variety show for some entertainment.
Day 6 - Paris
Our day begins in the heart of Paris with a visit to the iconic Eiffel Tower. You'll have the opportunity to ascend to its second level and marvel at the panoramic views of this celebrated iron structure—tickets are included. Following this, we will indulge in a serene cruise along the Seine, lasting approximately one hour and fifteen minutes. In the afternoon, you are free to explore the city at your own pace, discovering its many treasures—please note, the transfer back to the hotel is not included. Should there be long wait times at the Eiffel Tower, we may adjust the itinerary to ensure your convenience, potentially rescheduling the visit to another time or day.
Day 7 - Paris - Burgundy - Beaune - Lyon
Today, we continue our adventure through the enchanting heart of France. Our journey leads us through the renowned Bourgogne region, celebrated for its beautiful vineyards and fine wines. Our first stop is Beaune, a delightful Burgundy town famed for its flower-lined streets, historical hospice, and impressive wine museum. You'll have time to savour lunch and explore the town at your leisure.The day continues with a visit to Lyon, once the capital of Roman Gaul. Nestled on the Rhône River, this city boasts a historic centre that's recognised as a UNESCO World Heritage site. We'll take a cable car ride up to the iconic Notre-Dame de Fourvière, offering breathtaking views across the city. Afterwards, you’ll have free time to discover more of Lyon at your own pace.Please note, in some instances, part of our group may stay overnight in Chambéry, a nearby city known for its medieval charm and elegant castle. Those staying here will have the opportunity to explore this historic capital of Savoy the following morning.
Day 8 - Lyon - Geneva - Zurich
Today, we'll embark on a captivating journey into Switzerland, beginning with Geneva. As we arrive, we'll take in views of the Palace of Nations, the European headquarters of the United Nations, followed by a stroll through the delightful English Garden, famous for its intricate flower clock and the impressive Jet d'Eau ? the tallest fountain in Europe. After lunch, our scenic drive continues, skirting the shores of Lake Geneva and Lake Neuch?tel. Travelling through the picturesque Three Lakes region, we'll be treated to spectacular views of lush vineyards that create a striking contrast against the mountainous backdrop. We'll pause in the charming town of Neuch?tel, where you'll have the chance to walk by the lake, discover the historic town centre, or explore the magnificent 10th-century castle. Our day concludes in Zurich, Switzerland's largest city, where we'll arrive in the late afternoon. Please note that depending on the number of travellers, our journey from Geneva to Zurich may be by train, in which case a stop in Neuch?tel may not be possible.
Day 9 - Zurich
Today, we start our day with an exploration of Zurich, Switzerland's largest city, renowned for its role as a global financial and cultural centre. Zurich has consistently been recognised as one of the world's most liveable cities. Following this, we have planned a delightful two-hour cruise on Lake Zurich, offering enchanting views and brief stops at charming villages along the route. Our journey will then take us to Rapperswil, a picturesque village famous for its medieval castle. After some time here, we'll return to Zurich by train, showcasing the reliability and punctuality of the Swiss railway system. Depending on the group's size, transfers to and from the city centre may utilise public transport.
Day 10 - Zurich - Lucerne - Zurich
Today, we embark on a journey through some of Switzerland's most picturesque scenery, featuring towering mountains and pristine lakes. Our first destination is the Interlaken region, renowned for its stunning landscapes. We'll begin by visiting Grindelwald, where you can take a leisurely break with a coffee before boarding the cable car that will whisk us up the mountain. Once at the top, you'll have the opportunity to stroll along a winding path leading to a suspended bridge. For those seeking a bit of adventure, crossing this bridge rewards you with breathtaking views of the surrounding glaciers. We'll enjoy lunch on the mountain, which is included in the tour, before descending.Our journey continues to the charming city of Lucerne, celebrated as one of Switzerland’s most beautiful locales. Here, you will have ample time to explore and soak in the delightful cityscape at your own pace. Later, we will return to Zurich.For those interested in an optional full-day excursion, our guide can arrange for a trip starting in the morning. Following some free time in Lucerne, there is an option to take a rotating cable car to the summit of Mount Titlis. Towering over 3,000 metres above sea level, this alpine summit offers extraordinary views of both the glacier and the majestic Alps.
Day 11 - Zurich - Bellinzona - Como - Milan
Departing Zurich early, we cross the Alps into Switzerland's Italian-speaking region. Our first stop is Bellinzona, famed for its trio of medieval castles – each a UNESCO World Heritage site. These striking fortresses underline Bellinzona’s strategic importance as a historic Alpine stronghold. You'll have time to explore the charming central streets at your leisure. We then venture into Italy, pausing in the picturesque town of Como for lunch. Known as the jewel of Lombardy, Como boasts stunning lakeside gardens and a splendid cathedral. Continuing onwards, we arrive in Milan, where our guide will accompany you to the grand Piazza del Duomo. Enjoy some free time here before we head to the hotel for the night.
Day 12 - Milan - Pisa - Rome
Today, we venture from the bustling city of Milan towards the iconic and historic Pisa. Our first stop will be the Piazza dei Miracoli, reached by a quaint tourist train. Here, you'll have the opportunity to marvel at one of Italy's most captivating art complexes, including the renowned Leaning Tower of Pisa. Take a moment to soak in the architectural splendour and historical significance of this UNESCO World Heritage Site.After enjoying the charms of Pisa, we'll continue our journey to Rome, arriving in the later part of the day. As we approach Italy's capital, anticipate the rich history and vibrant culture waiting to be discovered on the next leg of your adventure.
Day 13 - Rome
On day thirteen, we embark on an extensive guided exploration of Rome, one of the ancient world's most influential cities. Our journey begins with a three-hour tour, blending a stroll through Imperial Rome and a panoramic bus ride. We'll uncover significant historical landmarks like the Arch of Constantine, the exterior of the Colosseum, the Imperial Forums, Circus Maximus, the Baths of Caracalla, the Basilica of Saint Mary Major, the Pyramid of Cestius, and Castel Sant'Angelo. The tour concludes around 11 a.m. at Vatican City, a cultural and spiritual hub brimming with history.In the afternoon, you're invited to participate in an optional excursion to the Vatican Museums and the renowned Sistine Chapel, home to breathtaking art and the iconic ceiling by Michelangelo.Later in the evening, we'll whisk you off to Trastevere, a charming neighbourhood celebrated for its inviting restaurants and vibrant atmosphere. You'll have time to soak in the local ambience before we return to the hotel around 8:30 p.m.
Day 14 - Rome - Madrid
The day begins with a convenient transfer to the airport for your included domestic flight. Upon arrival at your destination, you'll be welcomed with another transfer to your hotel. Later in the afternoon, your guide will reach out to provide you with any necessary information, or you can check the hotel reception for details – just a reminder regarding luggage for domestic flights: the allowance typically includes one suitcase up to 20 kg, with any excess baggage fees payable directly to the airline. Enjoy your free time to relax or explore the local surroundings, and take advantage of the insights your guide or the hotel staff can offer.
Day 15 - Madrid
We’ll start the day with an enlightening tour of central Madrid, covering the vibrant Paseo del Prado, the iconic fountains of Cibeles and Neptuno, and the grand Puerta de Alcalá. Our journey continues to Plaza de Colón and the historic Plaza Mayor, each offering a unique glimpse into Madrid's rich heritage. Afterwards, we'll explore Retiro Park, a serene haven in the heart of the city. Here, you’ll have the opportunity to admire the tranquil lake and the striking Palacio de Cristal. Our exploration includes admission to the famed Santiago Bernabéu Stadium, home to Real Madrid, which is hailed by many as the world's premier football club. You are then free to enjoy the afternoon at your own pace. In the evening, we'll arrange your return transfer to the hotel, allowing you to relax and reflect on your day in this captivating city.

Following breakfast, our tour concludes, leaving you with cherished memories of your journey.
