Day 1 - London
Upon your arrival in London, we will arrange a transfer to your hotel, where you can settle in and enjoy some free time to explore at your leisure. In the afternoon, be sure to check the hotel reception area for information regarding the start of our tour. Please be aware that travellers may join or leave the group at various points during the journey; however, rest assured that the group size will not exceed the maximum limit. Please note: This tour may have travellers joining or departing at various points along the route, meaning group composition can change during the tour. Please also be aware that depending on group composition, guiding may be in additional languages as well as English.
Day 2 - London
Enjoy a captivating day exploring London with us on a guided panoramic tour that delves into the rich culture and history of this magnificent city. We'll take you past iconic landmarks including Parliament, the River Thames, and Buckingham Palace, where you may have the chance to witness the Changing of the Guard if the timing aligns. As evening falls, we'll convene in the vibrant vicinity of Piccadilly. From here, we'll embark on a leisurely walk through some of London's most dynamic areas – Leicester Square, Chinatown, and Soho – celebrated for their bustling atmosphere, theatres, and myriad entertainment options. The area offers a diverse selection of restaurants where you can enjoy dinner before we make our way back to the hotel.
Day 3 - London - Colchester - Colchester - Volendam Ferry
On the third day, our morning begins with a visit to the British Museum, renowned as one of the world's oldest museums. Here, we will explore exhibits that showcase diverse cultures from across the globe. Following some free time for lunch, we will make our way to Camden. Known for its lively and eclectic street market, Camden offers a chance to discover unique items and enjoy lunch at one of the various local eateries or food stalls.In the afternoon, around 4:00 p.m., we will set off for Colchester, celebrated as England's oldest recorded town. We will take a leisurely walk through its historic streets, soaking in its rich heritage. Our journey then continues to Harwich, where we will board a ferry for an overnight crossing to the Netherlands, spending the night in en suite cabins. Please be aware that due to the limited availability of cabins, the itinerary may need to be adjusted. There may be a possibility of travelling from London to Amsterdam via a daytime ferry, with an overnight stay in Antwerp, or alternatively, we might opt for a train or flight to Amsterdam.
Day 4 - Colchester - Volendam Ferry - Volendam - Amsterdam
We begin our day in the Netherlands with our arrival at Hoek van Holland around eight in the morning. Our first stop is the charming fishing village of Volendam, known for its picturesque scenery and traditional Dutch charm. From there, we head to Amsterdam for a guided city tour. You'll experience the iconic Dutch windmill, admire the Rembrandt statue, and appreciate the sophisticated South District. We'll also visit Museum Square, where you’ll witness the intricate craft of diamond cutting. Our guided tour concludes with a leisurely stroll into the heart of Amsterdam, after which you will have free time to explore this vibrant city at your own pace.
Day 5 - Amsterdam
Following breakfast, our tour concludes in Amsterdam. We hope you'll depart with wonderful memories of your adventure.
