The areas around the Gorisca Hills and the Istrian Peninsular were fantastic. Plitvice Lakes were also excellent, would have liked to spend more time there. There were some days of long travelling, but unavoidable given all that was on the tour to visit, and I'm glad we covered the area we did.

So were all city guides , except Alan in Lublianja. We enjoyed all the wineries and truffle hunting was very good. The 3 corners hotel great. Belgrade hotel has not replied to our request for refund. Big noisey party so no sleep til 2am Many of the hotels were tired and had problems with the room aircon. A bit better spacing of food and lunch/ free time if possible as some days was very late lunch after early breakfast. A little bit more info day prior on timings of when can get lunch might help us prepare and location of toilets.

He really made the trip what is was and helped deal with minor issues (hotel rooms etc). itinerary was great- lots of variety and good pace. Our highlights: Ljubljana, Bled and Plitvice, truffle dogs, wine! Ljubljana to Portorose day was very long. A lunch break would have been preferable to the 45 min photo stop at Smartno. Valamar diamante hotel in Porec wasn't suitable for this type of traveller who tend to prefer to be in the centre of the town and support smaller businesses.
