The only low part of the tour was the stay at the Efe Boutique Hotel in Kusadasi. Although beautiful view, main problem was low quality of the food, dinner and breakfast. There were no reading lights on boith sides of bed. We had problems setting up the TV. We needed help from the hotel personnel.

In future, when you have only 2 doing the Essential Turkey tour and 19 doing Turkey Unplugged (or another tour), please teach out to the two as we would have upgraded to the Turkey unplugged tour.

The tour group provided pleasant company. Apart from the Istanbul accommodation, I enjoyed the experience and am keen to do a tour to Morocco in future. The accommodation in Istanbul was dreadful. It was extremely hot in Istanbul and the air conditioning in the room was perfunctory and made a clanking noise when switched on.
