Day 1 - Vienna
Welcome to Vienna. Upon arrival, we’ll transfer you to your hotel where you’ll have some free time to settle in. Later this afternoon, information about the tour’s start will be available on the notice boards at the hotel reception. This allows you to familiarise yourself with the upcoming plans at your own pace.
Please note: This tour may have travellers joining or departing at various points along the route, meaning group composition can change during the tour.
Day 2 - Vienna
Today we begin with a panoramic tour of Vienna led by a local guide. We’ll take in the city’s grand avenues, splendid palaces, expansive parks and lively centre, gaining a broad sense of its architectural and cultural highlights. In the afternoon, you’ll have free time to explore at your own pace. In the evening, we’ll transfer you to the Grinzing district, once a separate wine-growing village now part of the city, known for its traditional taverns. You will then have ample opportunity to enjoy dinner in this charming area.
Day 3 - Vienna - Budapest
We travel approximately three hours to Budapest, Hungary’s vibrant capital. Upon arrival, we stop at the bustling Váci utca, where you can enjoy some free time for lunch. Our exploration begins with a scenic boat trip on the Danube River, offering striking views of the historic Buda district on one side and the lively Pest on the other. Afterwards, we embark on a panoramic tour of the city, often called the "Queen of the Danube." You’ll have some free time later to explore at your own pace. In the evening, there is an optional outing to a traditional Magyar show, which includes dinner.
Day 4 - Budapest - Bratislava - Prague
We leave Budapest early this morning and travel to Bratislava, the capital of Slovakia. This charming city lies along the Danube and boasts an attractive historic centre where you’ll have time to explore and enjoy lunch at your leisure. Afterward, we continue on to Prague in the Czech Republic, arriving in the evening. We’ll transfer you to the Old Town Square, a lively central area that offers a fantastic introduction to Prague’s vibrant atmosphere and range of sights. You can choose to dine at one of the many nearby restaurants offering a variety of international cuisines, including Czech, Chinese, Indian, and Italian, before returning to the hotel.
Day 5 - Prague
We begin the day with a panoramic tour of Prague, led by a local guide who will highlight the city’s most remarkable landmarks and rich Baroque heritage. Included is a visit to Prague Castle, one of Europe’s largest and most historic castle complexes. Following the castle, we take a scenic boat cruise on the Vltava River, offering a unique perspective of the city’s architecture from the water. The afternoon is yours to explore at leisure, allowing you to discover Prague’s charming streets, vibrant squares, and cultural attractions at your own pace.
Day 6 - Prague - Pilsen - Rothenburg - Frankfurt
We leave Prague early and travel to Pilsen in western Bohemia, famed for its beer heritage. You’ll have time to explore the historic centre, including the Old Town Square, the cathedral, the Plague Column, and the Renaissance town hall. From there, we cross into Germany and follow part of the Romantic Road to Rothenburg, a picturesque town often described as one of the country’s most beautiful villages. Later, we continue to Frankfurt, Germany’s financial hub. On arrival in the evening, you’ll have free time to enjoy the historic city centre and choose from a variety of restaurants serving Indian, Asian, Italian, and international cuisine.
Day 7 - Frankfurt
After breakfast, your tour concludes in Frankfurt. You will have the morning to enjoy the city at your own pace before making your onward arrangements, taking with you many memorable experiences from the journey.
