Day 1 - Vienna
Upon arrival in Vienna, we’ll transfer you to your hotel where you’ll have some free time to settle in and begin exploring at your leisure. In the afternoon, information regarding the start of your tour will be available on notice boards in the hotel reception area, helping you prepare for the days ahead.
Please note: This tour may have travellers joining or departing at various points along the route, meaning group composition can change during the tour.
Day 2 - Vienna
Today, we begin with a panoramic tour of Vienna led by a local guide. We will explore the city’s grand avenues, impressive palaces, expansive parks, and bustling centre, providing a comprehensive introduction to its architectural and cultural highlights. In the afternoon, you will have free time to discover the city at your own pace. Later in the evening, we include a transfer to the Grinzing district—formerly a wine-growing village now part of Vienna—known for its traditional taverns. You will have time to enjoy dinner there before returning to the hotel.
Day 3 - Vienna - Budapest
After approximately three hours of travel, we arrive in Budapest, the Hungarian capital. We begin with a visit to the vibrant Váci utca, offering you free time to enjoy lunch at your leisure. Following this, we embark on a scenic boat cruise along the Danube River, taking in unmatched views of historic Buda on one side and the bustling Pest on the other. After the cruise, we continue with a panoramic tour of Budapest, often called the "Queen of the Danube," showcasing its key landmarks and urban charm. You’ll have some free time later to explore independently. In the evening, there is an optional outing to a traditional Magyar show, which includes dinner.
Day 4 - Budapest - Bratislava - Prague
We depart Budapest early and travel to Bratislava, the Slovakian capital nestled along the Danube River. You’ll have time to explore its charming historic centre and enjoy lunch at your leisure. In the afternoon, we continue to Prague in the Czech Republic, arriving in the evening. Upon arrival, we provide a transfer to the Old Town Square, a lively area ideal for getting your first impression of Prague with its vibrant atmosphere and numerous dining options. You can choose from a variety of restaurants offering Czech and international cuisines before we return to the hotel.
Day 5 - Prague
Today we explore Prague, often called the Baroque jewel of Europe. With our local guide, we’ll enjoy a panoramic tour, visiting the city’s most remarkable monuments. Included in the tour is a visit to Prague Castle, a historic complex that dominates the skyline. Afterwards, we’ll take a relaxing boat ride along the Vltava River to see the city from a different perspective. In the afternoon, you’ll have free time to discover Prague at your own pace.
Day 6 - Prague - Pilsen - Rothenburg - Frankfurt
We will depart early from Prague and travel to Pilsen in western Bohemia, a city famous for its brewing heritage. You’ll have time to explore the historic centre, including the Old Town Square, the cathedral, the Plague Column, and the Renaissance town hall. Afterwards, we’ll cross into Germany and follow part of the Romantic Road to Rothenburg, a picturesque town renowned for its well-preserved medieval architecture. In the evening, we’ll arrive in Frankfurt, Germany’s financial hub. You’ll have free time to enjoy the historic city centre, where a range of restaurants offers Indian, Asian, Italian, and international cuisine.
Day 7 - Frankfurt - Cruise on the Rhine - Cologne - Amsterdam
Today, we embark on a scenic cruise along the most picturesque stretch of the Rhine, travelling between the charming villages of Rüdesheim and St. Goar. Afterwards, we continue to Cologne, renowned for its magnificent Gothic cathedral that dominates the skyline. From there, we make our way to the Netherlands, arriving in Amsterdam by the evening.
Day 8 - Amsterdam
Today we visit some of the most picturesque locations in the Netherlands. We begin with Zaanse Schans, famous for its traditional houses, canals, and iconic windmills. Next, we travel to Volendam, a charming fishing village known for its scenic harbour and historic character. From Volendam, we take a short boat ride to Marken, once an island where houses were traditionally built on stilts to protect against flooding; it is now connected to the mainland by a dike. In the afternoon, we enjoy a guided tour of Amsterdam, covering key highlights such as the Rembrandt statue and windmill imagery, the modern elegance of the South District, and the historic diamond-cutting district around Museum Square. The bus tour concludes in the city centre, where you’ll have free time to explore Amsterdam’s famous canals, markets and cafés at your leisure.
Day 9 - Amsterdam - Brussels - Paris
After breakfast, we travel to Belgium, arriving in Brussels – the country’s capital and a centre for European institutions. We will admire the impressive Grand Place, a masterpiece of Flemish Baroque architecture, and take a leisurely stroll past the iconic Manneken Pis statue. Brussels offers a unique mix of history, contemporary culture, and renowned chocolate. In the afternoon, we continue our journey into France, reaching Paris by evening.
Day 10 - Paris
We begin the day with a visit to the magnificent Palace of Versailles, renowned for its extensive gardens and rich history (admission not included). Returning to Paris, we explore Montmartre, a bohemian district famed for its artistic heritage and vibrant cabaret scene. To complete the experience, we take a panoramic city tour with a local guide, highlighting Paris’s grand avenues and iconic landmarks. After the tour, we return to the hotel. In the evening, there is an optional variety show available for those wishing to enjoy further entertainment.
Day 11 - Paris
We begin the day in central Paris with a visit to the iconic Eiffel Tower, including admission to the second floor. Following this, we take a leisurely boat cruise along the Seine, lasting around one hour and fifteen minutes, offering lovely views of the city from the water. The afternoon is yours to explore Paris at your own pace, with transfers back to the hotel not included. Should there be long wait times at the Eiffel Tower, we may adjust the visit to a different time or day for your convenience. As the tour concludes, please check your flight details in case an extra night’s accommodation is needed.
