Day 1 - Arrival & Evening Views of Baku

Once you have arrived at Heydar Aliyev International Airport, you will be met and transferred to the hotel. You might have some time to start exploring, grab a meal or relax.
In the evening, you will head out to experience Baku from a different perspective. The tour begins with a visit to Highland Park, where wide views open across the city and the Caspian Sea. Here, you will see the Flame Towers, Martyrs' Lane and the Eternal Flame Monument, each reflecting the city’s history and identity.
From this elevated viewpoint, key landmarks come into view, including Baku Crystal Hall, Flag Square and the Baku Ferris Wheel. The drive also passes notable sites such as the Heydar Aliyev Cultural Center, Baku Conference Center, the Boulevard, Little Venice and the Carpet Museum, offering a well-rounded introduction to the capital. After, you will return to your hotel for the night.
Day 2 - Baku Through the Ages

This morning, you will embark on a tour of Baku, exploring its past, present and future through some of its most significant sites. The day begins in the Old City, Icherisheher, a UNESCO-listed area that reflects the city’s early history. Here, you will visit landmarks including the House of Baku Khans, Multani Caravansarai, Maiden Tower, St. Bartholomew Church, Juma Mosque, Muhammad Mosque, Aga Mikayil Bath House, the Miniature Books Museum and the Palace of the Shirvanshahs.
The tour then continues to the Heydar Aliyev Cultural Center, known for its striking modern design, followed by a visit to Highland Park for wide views across the city. This combination of historic and contemporary sites offers insight into Baku’s development from the 5th century through the Soviet period and into independence.
Later, you will explore Baku Boulevard, including stops at the Carpet Museum and Little Venice. The final visit is to Nizami Street and Fountain Square, a lively area in the heart of the city. After, you will return to your hotel for the night.
Day 3 - Gobustan & Mud Volcanoes Experience

Baku - Gobustan National Park - Baku. After breakfast, you will head out to explore the heritage of prehistoric communities and their way of life. The journey begins at the Gobustan State Historical and Cultural Reserve, where you will visit the museum before seeing the famous petroglyphs, ancient rock carvings that date back thousands of years and offer insight into early human activity.
The tour then continues to the Gobustan mud volcanoes, known for their unique landscapes and bubbling formations, one of the region’s most distinctive natural sights.
After returning to Baku, you will have free time in the city centre to explore at your own pace. After, you will return to your hotel.
Day 4 - Regional Landscapes & Mountain Scenery

Baku - Shamakhi - Gabal - Baku/Baku - Guba - Gusar - Baku. Today, you will have the choice of two full-day tours, each offering a different perspective of Azerbaijan’s natural landscapes and regional heritage. These experiences vary by season, with snow-covered scenery and winter activities in the colder months, and greenery with cooler temperatures during the rest of the year.
The first option takes you towards Shamakhi and Gabala. After departure from Baku, the journey begins with a visit to Shamakhi, home to the Juma Mosque, recognised as the first mosque in Azerbaijan. The route continues to Gabala, where you will visit the Seven Beauty Waterfall, set within a forested area, followed by a stop at Nohur Lake, known for its calm setting and mountain backdrop. The final visit is Tufandag Mountain Resort, where a cable car ride offers wide views across the surrounding peaks, with activities depending on the season. After, you will return to your hotel for the night.
Alternatively, you may choose the Guba and Gusar Shahdag route. After leaving Baku, the drive includes stops at Besh Barmag Mountain and the forested area of Qechresh, followed by Chenlibel Lake. The day continues to Shahdag Mountain Resort, a destination that offers snow-based activities in winter and outdoor experiences in the warmer months. After, you will return to your hotel for the night.
Day 5 - Departure from Baku

After your final breakfast, you may have some free time for last-minute shopping, further exploring, or simply relaxing before your transfer to the airport for your onward flight. Safe travels!
