Day 1 - Prague
Welcome to Prague. Upon arrival at the airport, we will transfer you to your hotel. Please check the information boards in the hotel reception for details about the welcome meeting with your guide. In the evening, we will take you to Old Town Square, a vibrant area bustling with visitors. You can choose to dine at one of the many restaurants offering a range of international cuisines, including Czech, Chinese, Indian, and Italian. Afterwards, we will provide transfer back to your hotel.
Please note: This tour may have travellers joining or departing at various points along the route, meaning group composition can change during the tour.
Day 2 - Prague
Today we’ll explore Prague, often called the Baroque jewel of Europe. A local guide will lead a panoramic tour, showcasing the city’s most remarkable monuments. During the morning, we visit Prague Castle—entry is included—where you can admire its impressive architecture and history. Afterwards, we’ll enjoy a scenic boat ride along the Vltava River, taking in views of the city from the water. The afternoon is yours to explore Prague at your own pace.
Day 3 - Prague - Munich - Innsbruck
We’ll set off early, travelling to Bavaria in Germany. We arrive in Munich around midday, allowing you some free time to explore the historic city centre and enjoy lunch at your leisure. In the afternoon, we continue into Austria, reaching Innsbruck nestled in the heart of the Alps. You’ll have time to discover the Tyrolean capital, including its charming Old Town and the famous Golden Roof area, where there will be an opportunity to enjoy dinner before the evening ends.
Day 4 - Innsbruck - Zurich
We begin the day with a visit to the Swarovski Museum, renowned for its crystal artistry. We’ll explore the impressive gardens and discover how these exquisite pieces are crafted. Afterwards, you’ll have some free time to wander around before we travel to Zurich, taking in the stunning Tyrolean scenery en route. Once in Zurich, spend the evening in the historic city centre by the lake, where you can choose from a range of restaurants offering Indian, Oriental, Italian, international, and traditional Swiss cuisine.
Day 5 - Zurich - Lucerne - Zurich
Today we’ll experience some of Switzerland’s most stunning mountain and lake scenery in the Interlaken region. Our first stop is Grindelwald, where we’ll take a break for coffee before boarding a cable car to the mountain. From there, we’ll follow a winding path to a suspended bridge—crossing it is optional but offers spectacular views of nearby glaciers. Lunch is included on the mountain before we return downhill. Afterwards, we travel to Lucerne, one of Switzerland’s most picturesque cities, where you’ll have free time to explore its charming streets and lakeside setting. We then return to Zurich for the evening. For those interested, the guide will offer an optional full-day excursion beginning in the morning, including a visit to Mount Titlis’s summit by rotating cable car. At over 3,000 metres, the alpine views of glaciers and the surrounding Alps are truly breathtaking.
Day 6 - Zurich - Bellinzona - Como - Milan
We’ll depart Zurich early this morning, crossing the Alps to reach the Italian-speaking region of Switzerland. Our first stop is Bellinzona, famous for its three medieval castles, which are UNESCO World Heritage Sites. These hilltop fortresses underline Bellinzona’s historical role as a key alpine stronghold. You’ll have free time to explore the picturesque old town at your own pace. Next, we enter Italy and stop in the charming lakeside town of Como for lunch. Known as the jewel of Lombardy, Como features beautiful gardens and an impressive cathedral. Afterwards, we continue to Milan, where our guide will lead us to the striking Piazza del Duomo. You’ll have some time to explore the area before we transfer you to your hotel for the evening.
Day 7 - Milan - Pisa - Rome
We continue our journey to Pisa this morning. Upon arrival, we’ll take a small tourist train to the Piazza dei Miracoli, where you’ll have time to admire this remarkable complex of art and architecture, including the iconic Leaning Tower of Pisa. Later, we’ll travel to Rome, arriving in the city later in the day.
Day 8 - Rome
In the morning, we’ll take a three-hour guided tour of Rome, combining a walking tour through the heart of Imperial Rome with a panoramic bus ride that showcases the city’s oldest and most significant landmarks. We’ll visit iconic sites including the Arch of Constantine, the exterior of the Colosseum and the Imperial Forums, Circus Maximus, Baths of Caracalla, Basilica of Saint Mary Major, Pyramid of Cestius, and Castel Sant’Angelo. The tour concludes at Vatican City around 11:00 a.m., where you may choose to join an optional visit to the Vatican Museums and the Sistine Chapel. Later, we’ll transfer you to the vibrant Trastevere district, known for its charming restaurants and lively atmosphere, with return to the hotel around 8:30 p.m.
Day 9 - Rome - Florence
Today we leave Rome and travel north through picturesque landscapes to Florence. Upon arrival, we head straight to Piazzale Michelangelo for stunning panoramic views of the city. From there, we walk down towards the historic centre, where after some time for lunch, we take a guided tour with a local expert. We’ll visit key landmarks including the Ponte Vecchio, the Duomo, and Piazza della Signoria. Florence is like an open-air museum, and after the tour, you’ll have free time to explore at your leisure. In the evening, you can choose from a wide range of restaurants offering international cuisine in this vibrant district.
Day 10 - Florence - Venice
Today we cross the Apennine Mountains, taking in the striking mountain scenery as we travel from Florence to Venice. Upon arrival, we’ll board a boat to cross the Giudecca Canal and reach the Island of Venice. With a local guide, we’ll explore the magnificent St. Mark’s Square before visiting the Murano Glass Factory, where you’ll witness the traditional techniques behind this centuries-old craft. You’ll then have some free time to explore Venice at your own pace. Accommodation is provided in the Mestre district.
Day 11 - Venice - Innsbruck - Salzburg
We’ll leave Venice and travel to Austria. Upon arrival in Innsbruck, you’ll have time to explore the historic city centre and enjoy lunch in this Tyrolean capital. Later, we’ll continue along scenic mountain routes to Kitzbühel, a charming village known for its ski resorts and alpine atmosphere. You’ll have some free time to wander before we carry on to Salzburg, where we’ll arrive by the end of the day. Depending on the group size, the journey from Venice to Innsbruck may be completed by train.
Day 12 - Salzburg - Lake Traunsee - Vienna
Today, we’ll delve deeper into Austria, starting with a morning exploration of Salzburg, Mozart’s birthplace. The city’s Renaissance and Baroque architecture is striking, all set beneath the imposing fortress that dominates the skyline. Next, we’ll journey through scenic lakes and mountains to St Wolfgang, a well-known pilgrimage town. Continuing on, we’ll arrive in Traunkirchen by the shores of Lake Traunsee, where we’ll take an included boat cruise to admire four castles along the lake before disembarking at Gmunden. Our day concludes with a drive to Vienna, reaching the Austrian capital by evening.
Day 13 - Vienna
We begin the day with a panoramic guided tour of Vienna, taking in its grand boulevards, impressive palaces, expansive parks, and lively city centre. In the afternoon, you will have free time to explore at your leisure. As evening falls, we include a transfer to the Grinzing district — a traditional wine-growing area now part of the city, celebrated for its charming taverns. You’ll have the opportunity to enjoy dinner independently in this atmospheric neighbourhood.
Day 14 - Vienna - Budapest
We’ll travel for about three hours to reach Budapest, the vibrant capital of Hungary. On arrival, you’ll have some free time to enjoy lunch along the bustling Váci utca, a lively pedestrian street known for its shops and cafés. Afterwards, we’ll embark on an included boat trip along the Danube River, taking in stunning views of historic Buda on one side and the bustling, cosmopolitan Pest on the other. Following the cruise, we’ll begin a panoramic tour of Budapest, often called the “Queen of the Danube,” showcasing its iconic landmarks. You’ll then have some free time to explore at your own pace. In the evening, there will be an optional outing to experience a traditional Magyar show, which includes dinner.
Day 15 - Budapest
After breakfast, your tour concludes, leaving you with lasting memories of Budapest and the experiences gained throughout your journey.
