Day 1 - Prague
Welcome to Prague. Upon arrival at the airport, we will transfer you to your hotel. Please check the information boards in the hotel reception for details about the welcome meeting with your guide. This evening, we will take you to the vibrant Old Town Square, where you can enjoy dinner at one of the many restaurants offering a variety of international cuisines, including Czech, Chinese, Indian, and Italian. Afterwards, we will provide transport back to the hotel.
Please note: This tour may have travellers joining or departing at various points along the route, meaning group composition can change during the tour.
Day 2 - Prague
Today, we explore Prague, often called the Baroque jewel of Europe. Our local guide will take us on a panoramic tour, showcasing the city’s most remarkable landmarks. We will visit Prague Castle, with admission included, where you can admire the historic architecture and stunning views. Following this, we’ll enjoy a boat ride on the Vltava River, offering a different perspective of the city’s skyline. The afternoon is then yours to discover Prague at your own pace.
Day 3 - Prague - Pilsen - Rothenburg - Frankfurt
We depart early from Prague and travel west to Pilsen, a city famed for its beer heritage. You’ll have time to explore the historic centre, including the Old Town Square, the cathedral, the Plague Column, and the Renaissance-era town hall. Afterwards, we cross the border into Germany and follow a section of the Romantic Road, arriving in Rothenburg. This charming town, often described as a fairy-tale village, is regarded as one of the most beautiful in the country. In the evening, we continue to Frankfurt, Germany’s financial hub. Upon arrival, you’ll enjoy free time in the historic city centre, where a variety of restaurants offer Indian, Asian, Italian, and international dishes.
Day 4 - Frankfurt - Cruise on the Rhine - Cologne - Amsterdam
Today, we take a scenic cruise along the most picturesque stretch of the Rhine River, sailing between the charming villages of Rüdesheim and St. Goar. Afterwards, we travel to Cologne to admire its impressive Gothic cathedral, a masterpiece of medieval architecture. Later, we continue into the Netherlands, arriving in Amsterdam by evening.
Day 5 - Amsterdam
Today we’ll explore some of Holland’s most picturesque sights. We begin at Zaanse Schans, known for its charming houses, canals, and traditional windmills. Next, we visit Volendam, a scenic fishing village with a distinctive character. From Volendam, we’ll take a short boat ride to Marken, a former island now connected to the mainland by a dike; its houses were traditionally built on stilts to protect from flooding. In the afternoon, we’ll enjoy a guided tour of Amsterdam, taking in highlights such as the iconic windmill and Rembrandt statue, the modern elegance of the South District, and the historic diamond-cutting district at Museum Square. We’ll conclude the tour on foot in the city centre, after which you’ll have free time to explore Amsterdam’s famous canals, markets, and cafés at your leisure.
Day 6 - Amsterdam - Hamelin - Berlin
We leave Amsterdam and travel into Germany, stopping first in Hamelin – a charming town famed for its connections to the Brothers Grimm’s Pied Piper legend. You’ll have time to explore its quaint streets and shops before we continue towards Berlin. En route, we pass through Marienborn, the former checkpoint on the border between East and West Germany until reunification in 1990. We arrive in Berlin in the evening, ready for the next day’s exploration.
Day 7 - Berlin
Today we explore Berlin, the dynamic capital of Germany, accompanied by a local guide. From the coach, we’ll pass key sights including Museum Island, the Television Tower, central shopping streets, the ruined old cathedral, Brandenburg Gate, the Reichstag, and the city's extensive parks. We’ll pause to visit the Holocaust Memorial and the Berlin Wall Memorial Museum—both poignant reminders of Germany’s recent history. You’ll have the afternoon free to discover Berlin at your leisure. Early evening, we’ll transfer you to the vibrant Kantstrasse area for dinner or further exploration.
Day 8 - Berlin - Dresden - Prague
We’ll travel through forested landscapes to Dresden, a city celebrated for its remarkable architectural and artistic heritage, making it one of Germany’s premier tourist destinations. You’ll have time to explore some of its stunning palaces and enjoy lunch at your leisure. In the afternoon, we’ll continue to Prague in the Czech Republic, where the journey concludes. Please check your flight details in case you require an additional night’s accommodation.
