Day 1 - Prague
Welcome to Prague. Upon arrival at the airport, we will transfer you to your hotel where you can check the information boards in reception for details about the welcome meeting with your guide. In the evening, we will take you to the Old Town Square, a vibrant area full of activity and visitors. You can choose to dine at one of the many restaurants offering a range of international cuisines including Czech, Chinese, Indian, and Italian. After dinner, we will provide a transfer back to the hotel.
Please note: This tour may have travellers joining or departing at various points along the route, meaning group composition can change during the tour.
Day 2 - Prague
Today we explore Prague, often regarded as Europe’s Baroque gem. Our local guide will lead a panoramic tour of the city, showcasing its most remarkable monuments. We’ll visit Prague Castle, included in your itinerary, where you can admire its historic architecture and significance. Following the castle tour, we’ll enjoy a scenic boat ride along the Vltava River. The afternoon is yours to discover Prague at your own pace, whether that’s strolling through the Old Town or visiting local cafés and shops.
Day 3 - Prague - Munich - Innsbruck
We depart early from Prague and travel to Bavaria, Germany, arriving in Munich around midday. You’ll have free time to explore the historic city centre and enjoy lunch at your leisure. In the afternoon, we continue onwards to Austria, reaching Innsbruck nestled in the heart of the Alps. Upon arrival, you’ll have time to explore the city, including its Old Town and the famous Golden Roof area. Dinner can be enjoyed here before we conclude the day.
Day 4 - Innsbruck - Zurich
We begin the day with a visit to the Swarovski Museum in Innsbruck, exploring its impressive gardens and learning about the craftsmanship behind the renowned crystal creations. Following this, you’ll have some free time to wander at your leisure before we depart for Zurich. The journey offers beautiful views of the Tyrolean Alps along the way. On arrival in Zurich, spend the evening in the historic city centre by the lake, where a variety of restaurants await, serving Indian, Oriental, Italian, international, and Swiss cuisine.
Day 5 - Zurich - Lucerne - Zurich
Today’s journey reveals some of Switzerland’s most striking alpine scenery. We’ll begin in the Interlaken region, renowned for its towering mountains and pristine lakes. Our first stop is Grindelwald, where we’ll pause for a coffee before boarding the cable car to ascend the mountain. At the summit, we’ll follow a winding path to a suspended bridge that, for the more adventurous, offers spectacular views of the surrounding glaciers. Lunch is included on the mountain before we descend. Afterwards, we travel to Lucerne, one of Switzerland’s most picturesque cities, where you’ll have time to explore at your leisure and soak up the charming atmosphere. We’ll return to Zurich in the evening. For those interested, the guide will offer an optional full-day excursion starting in the morning, which includes free time in Lucerne and a rotating cable car ride to the summit of Mount Titlis. At over 3,000 metres, the alpine peak provides breathtaking views of the glacier and the Alps.
Day 6 - Zurich - Strasbourg - Paris
We depart Zurich and travel to the Alsace region of France, arriving in Strasbourg – a city where French and German heritage blend seamlessly. You’ll have time to explore the city’s charming streets and take in its distinctive architecture at your own pace. Later, we continue to Paris, arriving in the evening to settle in for the night.
Day 7 - Paris
We begin the day with a visit to the Palace of Versailles, exploring its renowned gardens at your own pace (admission not included). Returning to Paris, we visit Montmartre, the historic bohemian district known for its artistic heritage, charming streets and lively cabarets. Afterwards, we take a panoramic city tour with a local guide, showcasing Paris’s grand boulevards and iconic landmarks. We then return to the hotel. In the evening, you can choose to attend an optional variety show for a taste of Parisian entertainment.
Day 8 - Paris - Rouen
We begin the day in central Paris with a visit to the iconic Eiffel Tower, where we’ll take you up to the second floor (tickets included) for impressive views over the city. Following this, we’ll enjoy a leisurely cruise along the Seine River. You’ll then have the afternoon at your own pace to further explore Paris. Around 4:00 p.m., we’ll depart for Normandy, arriving in Rouen later in the day. Here, you’ll have free time to wander through Rouen’s historic centre, known for its medieval architecture and striking Gothic cathedral that reflect the city’s rich heritage dating back to Roman times. Please note, if wait times at the Eiffel Tower are long, we may reschedule the visit to later in the day or to Sunday to ensure a smooth experience.
Day 9 - Rouen - English Channel - Canterbury - London
This morning, we’ll enjoy some free time exploring the centre of Rouen, taking in its medieval streets and notable Gothic cathedral. Afterwards, we’ll travel north, crossing the English Channel by ferry to reach Canterbury, England’s religious heart, known for its historic charm. Our journey will then continue to London, where you’ll have some free time near the iconic Tower Bridge before we transfer to the hotel.
Day 10 - London
We explore London on a panoramic tour with a local guide, visiting key landmarks such as the Houses of Parliament, the River Thames, and Buckingham Palace, where you may have the chance to see the Changing of the Guard, depending on the schedule. In the evening, we’ll gather in Piccadilly for a stroll through Leicester Square, Chinatown, and Soho—areas famed for their vibrant nightlife, theatres, and diverse dining options. You’ll have plenty of choices for dinner before we return to the hotel.
Day 11 - London - Colchester - Colchester - Volendam Ferry
We begin the day with a visit to the British Museum, one of the world’s oldest institutions, where we explore artefacts reflecting diverse cultures across the globe. Following some free time for lunch, we head to Camden, a lively district famed for its eclectic street market, offering a variety of unique items and international street food. Around 4:00 p.m., we travel to Colchester, England's oldest recorded town, where we enjoy a relaxed walk through its historic streets. Later, we continue to Harwich to board the ferry for an overnight crossing to the Netherlands, with comfortable en suite cabins. Please note that due to limited cabin availability, the itinerary may be adjusted; we might instead travel via a daytime ferry with an overnight stay in Antwerp, or opt for train or flight connections to Amsterdam.
Day 12 - Colchester - Volendam Ferry - Volendam - Amsterdam
We arrive in the Netherlands at Hoek van Holland around 8:00 in the morning, then visit Volendam—a picturesque fishing village known for its traditional charm. From there, we travel to Amsterdam for a guided city tour. We’ll take in iconic sights including a classic windmill and the Rembrandt statue, explore the modern elegance of the South District, and visit Museum Square to learn about the city’s long heritage of diamond cutting. The tour concludes in central Amsterdam, where you’ll have free time to explore further at your own pace.
Day 13 - Amsterdam
After breakfast, your journey concludes, leaving you with lasting memories of your trip.
