Day 1 - Paris
Welcome to Paris. Upon arrival, we’ll transfer you to your hotel where you’ll have some free time to settle in and start exploring at your leisure. In the afternoon, we’ll provide all the essential information about the tour’s commencement—either through a face-to-face briefing or via information displayed at the hotel reception—so you’re well prepared for the days ahead.
Please note: This tour may have travellers joining or departing at various points along the route, meaning group composition can change during the tour.
Day 2 - Paris
We begin the day with a visit to the magnificent Palace of Versailles, exploring its remarkable gardens and learning about its historical significance (admission not included). On our return to Paris, we visit Montmartre, a vibrant bohemian district known for its artistic heritage and lively cabaret scene. To complete the day, we take a panoramic city tour with a local guide, highlighting Paris’s grand boulevards and iconic landmarks. After the tour, we head back to the hotel. In the evening, you may choose to attend an optional variety show.
Day 3 - Paris - Rouen
We begin the day in central Paris with a visit to the iconic Eiffel Tower, including tickets to ascend to the second floor. Following this, we’ll enjoy a leisurely boat cruise along the Seine, offering a unique view of the city’s landmarks. The afternoon is yours to explore Paris at your own pace. Around 4:00 p.m., we depart for Normandy, arriving in Rouen. Here, you’ll have free time to discover the historic centre, known for its medieval architecture and impressive Gothic cathedral. Please note, if queues at the Eiffel Tower are long, we may reschedule this visit to another time for your convenience.
Day 4 - Rouen - English Channel - Canterbury - London
Today begins with some free time to explore the centre of Rouen at a leisurely pace. Afterwards, we travel north through France to cross the English Channel by ferry. Upon arrival in England, we reach Canterbury, known for its historic centre and status as a religious landmark. Continuing onwards, we arrive in London where you’ll have some free time around the iconic Tower Bridge area before we proceed to the hotel for the night.
Day 5 - London
We’ll explore London on a panoramic tour with a local guide, taking in key landmarks such as the Houses of Parliament, the River Thames, and Buckingham Palace, where you may see the Changing of the Guard if the timing is right. In the evening, we’ll gather in Piccadilly for a leisurely walk through Leicester Square, Chinatown, and Soho—vibrant districts known for their theatres, lively atmosphere, and diverse dining options. You’ll have ample choice for dinner before we return to the hotel.
Day 6 - London - Colchester - Colchester - Volendam Ferry
In the morning, we visit the British Museum, one of the world’s oldest museums, where we’ll explore artefacts representing cultures from across the globe. Following some free time for lunch, we head to Camden, a vibrant district known for its eclectic street market. Here, you can browse an array of unique items and enjoy lunch at one of the market’s many food stalls or cafés. At around 4:00 p.m., we depart for Colchester, England’s oldest recorded town, and take a leisurely walk through its historic streets. We then continue to Harwich to board the ferry for an overnight voyage to the Netherlands, travelling in en suite cabins. Please note, due to limited cabin availability, the itinerary may be adjusted; we might travel via a daytime ferry with an overnight stay in Antwerp or transfer to Amsterdam by train or flight instead.
Day 7 - Colchester - Volendam Ferry - Volendam - Amsterdam
We arrive in the Netherlands at Hoek van Holland around 8:00 a.m. From there, we visit Volendam, a charming fishing village known for its traditional atmosphere and picturesque harbour. Later, we continue to Amsterdam for a guided city tour that highlights a variety of attractions: the iconic windmill and Rembrandt statue, the modern elegance of the South District, and the centuries-old craft of diamond cutting at Museum Square. The bus tour concludes in the city centre, where you will have free time to explore at your leisure.
Day 8 - Amsterdam - Brussels - Paris
After breakfast, we travel to Belgium and arrive in Brussels, the nation’s capital and the seat of major European institutions. Here, we’ll admire the stunning Grand Place, a prime example of Flemish Baroque architecture, and take a stroll by the famous Manneken Pis statue. Brussels offers a unique blend of history, chocolate heritage, and contemporary life. In the afternoon, we continue on to France, returning to Paris by the end of the day.
Day 9 - Paris
After breakfast, your tour concludes, leaving you with wonderful memories of your journey to take home.
