Itinerary
Day 1 - Athens

Welcome to Athens! Upon your arrival at the airport, our representative will be there to greet you and ensure a smooth transfer to your hotel. Take this opportunity to unwind and get comfortable in your accommodation.
Day 2 - Exploring Athens & Acropolis

We will collect you from your hotel for a guided sightseeing tour of Athens. During the tour, we take in key landmarks including the House of Parliament and the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier, where the ceremonial guards stand watch, as well as Hadrian’s Arch and the vast Temple of Olympian Zeus, once among the largest temples in the ancient world.
We continue to the Panathenaic Stadium, originally built in marble and host of the first modern Olympic Games, before passing the Academy, the University and the National Library - three neoclassical buildings that form the intellectual heart of the city.
Our visit to the Acropolis brings us to Athens’ most iconic site, where we explore the Parthenon, the Erectheion with its famous Caryatid columns, and the Temple of Athena Nike, all dating back to the 5th century BC and reflecting the height of ancient Greek civilisation. We also visit the Acropolis Museum, which houses remarkable artefacts uncovered from the site.
The remainder of the day is yours to enjoy at leisure - you may wish to explore the city further, relax at a café, or take in additional sights at your own pace.
Day 3 - Delphi & Kalabaka

Athens - Delphi - Kalabaka. Leaving Athens, we travel by coach on a full-day excursion to Delphi. Set on the slopes of Mount Parnassus, the archaeological site is rich with monuments from antiquity. We explore the Sanctuary of Apollo, the Treasury of the Athenians, the Theatre and the Stadium, before visiting the museum, home to significant artefacts including the bronze Charioteer dating to 475 BC, the statue of Antinoos, and the athlete Aghias.
As we continue our journey, we pass through the Thessalian plains, with views of the Greek countryside unfolding along the way. Our route takes us through the towns of Amphissa, Lamia and Trikala before arriving in Kalabaka in the early evening.
After checking in at the hotel, you have time to explore the town at your own pace. We end the day with dinner at the hotel.
Day 4 - Meteora Monasteries & Return to Athens

Kalabaka - Meteora - Athens. We set out for Meteora, a UNESCO World Heritage Site known for its striking landscape and remarkable monastic community. Perched atop towering sandstone pillars, the monasteries appear suspended between earth and sky, with some built on the cliff tops and others tucked into natural caves.
Originally inhabited by hermits in the 11th century, Meteora later developed into an important monastic centre, offering refuge and seclusion during periods of unrest. Today, it remains a place of both spiritual significance and extraordinary natural beauty. We visit selected monasteries, where we can admire historic frescoes, religious artefacts and sweeping views across the surrounding plains.
Following our visit, we return to Athens, arriving in the early afternoon.
Day 5 - Athens to Naxos

Athens - Naxos. In the morning, you will be transferred to Piraeus port for your journey to Naxos (travel independently). Upon arrival, you will be met and transferred to your hotel.
Day 6 - Naxos at Leisure

Today is free for you to enjoy the island at your own pace. You may wish to explore its rich mix of history and architecture, where ancient churches and monasteries sit alongside Venetian castles and traditional Cycladic cubic houses.
A visit to the medieval town of Chora offers a glimpse into the island’s past, with its narrow lanes and distinctive Venetian influences. Take your time to wander, discover hidden corners, and appreciate the unique character of this enchanting setting.
Day 7 - Naxos to Santorini

Naxos - Santorini. Make your own way to the port for your departure to Santorini (travel independently). Upon arrival in Santorini, you will be met and transferred to your hotel.
Day 8 - Santorini at Leisure

Today is free for you to explore Santorini at your own pace. You may wish to wander through Fira, the island’s lively capital, set on the edge of the caldera with sweeping views of the volcano and the Aegean Sea. Whitewashed buildings and blue-domed churches create the iconic scenery the island is known for.
You could also visit nearby villages such as Firostefani and Imerovigli, or travel to Oia, famed for its traditional architecture and clifftop setting. As the day draws to a close, you may choose to find a spot to relax and take in one of Santorini’s celebrated sunsets.
Day 9 - Return to Athens

Santorini - Athens. Enjoy a relaxed morning before we transfer you to the port for your ferry journey to Piraeus, Athens’ main harbour. On arrival, we transfer you to your hotel, where you can check in and take some time to unwind.
Day 10 - Athens

Based on your flight departure time, you will be transferred to Athens airport to begin your journey back home.
