Day 1 - Mumbai
On arrival at Mumbai’s Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport, we’ll meet you and arrange your transfer to the hotel for a smooth start to your time in the city. Standard check‑in is from 2 pm – until your room is ready, you can relax in the hotel lobby or take a leisurely stroll nearby and perhaps enjoy a refreshing drink. Use the rest of the day to rest and recover from your journey, or you can explore the local area and sample Mumbai’s renowned cuisine. Overnight at hotel.
Day 2 - Exploring Mumbai
Mumbai We begin at the Gateway of India, the city’s landmark arch with sweeping views of the Arabian Sea and harbour activity. We continue to Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus – a UNESCO World Heritage Site in Victorian Gothic Revival style – before a drive along Marine Drive, the Queen’s Necklace, for its classic seafront panorama. We dive into the bustle of Crawford Market, then visit Dhobi Ghat, the world’s largest open air laundry. We pause in the Hanging Gardens atop Malabar Hill for greenery and city views, and visit Mani Bhavan to learn about Mahatma Gandhi’s life and work. We explore the Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Vastu Sangrahalaya – formerly the Prince of Wales Museum – home to a broad collection of art and historical artefacts. We also drive past colonial era landmarks including Mumbai University, Raja Bai Chowk and the High Court Buildings. We end the day at Colaba Causeway, a lively strip of shops, boutiques and eateries. Overnight at hotel.
Day 3 - Mumbai
Mumbai After breakfast at the hotel, you have the morning at leisure to pack and say your goodbyes to the city – standard check-out is at 11:00. We will arrange a timely transfer to Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport for your onward journey, in line with your flight schedule.
