Day 1 - New Delhi - Delhi
Upon arrival at Indira Gandhi International Airport, you will be met by a representative and transferred to your hotel. Delhi is a vibrant city where history and modernity coexist, with the Old and New Delhi areas showcasing the capital’s rich cultural and architectural heritage. After settling in, you have the remainder of the day at your leisure to relax or begin exploring this dynamic metropolis. Overnight stay in Delhi.
Day 2 - Delhi - New Delhi
After breakfast, we explore Old Delhi, beginning with a visit to Jama Masjid, one of the largest mosques in India dating back to the 17th century. On the way, we pass the imposing Red Fort, a symbol of Mughal power. We then take a rickshaw ride through the bustling streets of Chandni Chowk, experiencing the vibrant heart of the old city. Next, we visit Raj Ghat, the solemn memorial dedicated to Mahatma Gandhi. In the afternoon, we turn our attention to New Delhi, starting with the Sikh temple Bangla Sahib, known for its striking golden dome and peaceful atmosphere. We drive through Connaught Place, the city’s commercial hub, before visiting Qutub Minar, the tallest brick minaret in the world and a fine example of Indo-Islamic architecture. Our tour continues through the government district, where we see the Rashtrapati Bhavan, the Parliament House, and the Gateway of India—monuments reflecting the political legacy of British India. We return to the hotel in Delhi for the night.
Day 3 - Delhi - Mandawa
After breakfast, we leave Delhi and begin our journey to Mandawa in Rajasthan’s Jhunjhunu district. Known as an open-air art gallery, Mandawa is famed for its richly decorated forts and havelis—traditional mansions of wealthy merchant families. The town’s striking architecture has also made it a popular location for Bollywood films. Upon arrival, we check into the hotel, and the remainder of the day is yours to relax or explore at leisure. You might choose to admire the intricate frescoes of the havelis or browse the local bazaars, which offer a variety of handicrafts including paintings, decorated chests and metalwork—ideal for picking up unique souvenirs. We reconvene at the hotel for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 4 - Bikaner
After breakfast at the hotel, we depart for Bikaner, a city nestled on the edge of the Thar Desert, known for its impressive forts, temples and palaces. In the afternoon, we explore Junagarh Fort, a vast 16th-century complex founded by Raja Rai Singh. This fort is notable for its red sandstone and marble construction, ornate balconies and intricately designed windows. Remarkably, it has never been conquered throughout its history. After the visit, return to the hotel for dinner and an overnight stay in Bikaner.
Day 5 - Bikaner - Jaisalmer
After breakfast, we depart for Jaisalmer, famously known as the ‘Golden City’ for its sandstone buildings that glow warmly in the desert sunlight. En route, we visit Pokhran Fort, a 14th-century fortress notable for its distinctive red hue, set amidst the Thar Desert. Upon arrival in Jaisalmer, check in to your hotel and enjoy the afternoon at leisure. You may choose to relax or explore the narrow lanes of the old city, discovering intricately carved havelis tucked beneath the fort’s ramparts. As evening falls, consider watching the sunset from one of the city’s excellent viewpoints—such as Jaisalmer Fort, Lake Gadisar or Vyas Chhatri—where the desert landscape takes on a magical quality under the fading light. Return to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 6 - Jaisalmer
After breakfast, we begin the day with a visit to the Gadisar Lake, an ancient water reservoir that once served as a vital source for the city. Next, we explore Jaisalmer Fort, a living fort that still houses over 3,000 residents within its walls. The fort’s narrow streets are lined with intricately carved sandstone houses, all glowing with the distinctive golden honey hue of the local stone. In the afternoon, we head out to the Sam dunes for a desert excursion. Here, we enjoy a one-hour camel ride across the rolling sand dunes and watch the sunset over the nearby chatris—traditional cenotaphs that stand just outside the city. We return to the hotel in the evening for dinner and overnight stay in Jaisalmer.
Day 7 - Jaisalmer - Jodhpur
After an early breakfast, we depart for Jodhpur, founded in 1459 by a Rajput chief of the Rathore clan. Strategically located on the trade route between Delhi and Gujarat, the city prospered through commerce in goods such as opium, copper, silk, sandalwood and dates. Known as the Blue City for its distinctive indigo-painted houses, Jodhpur is set against the stark backdrop of the Thar Desert and boasts numerous palaces, forts and temples. Upon arrival, check in to your hotel before joining a three-hour afternoon tour of Mehrangarh Fort. Perched 125 metres above the city, this imposing fortress is one of India’s most impressive, featuring intricately carved palaces, latticed windows and expansive courtyards. We return to the hotel in the evening for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 8 - Jodhpur - Ranakpur - Udaipur
After breakfast, we travel by road to Udaipur, stopping en route to visit the renowned Ranakpur temples. These 15th-century Jain temples are set in a picturesque valley amid the Aravalli hills. While guides are not permitted inside, audio guides will be provided to help you appreciate the intricate marble architecture, including the main temple’s 1,444 uniquely carved columns. Continuing to Udaipur, we arrive and check into the hotel, where you can relax and prepare for the next stage of your journey. Overnight in Udaipur.

In the evening, enjoy a boat ride on the calm waters of Lake Pichola (subject to water levels). The lake features several islands, including Jag Mandir and Jag Niwas, both home to splendid palaces. After the boat ride, we return to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 10 - Udaipur - Jaipur
After breakfast, we begin the journey to Jaipur, stopping en route at Pushkar. This sacred Hindu pilgrimage town lies beside Pushkar Lake, which is surrounded by over 400 temples and 52 ghats. The lake is regarded as one of the holiest sites in Hinduism, with a belief that bathing in its waters during Kartika Purnima is equivalent to performing centuries of yajnas, or ritual offerings. After exploring Pushkar, we continue to Jaipur, the vibrant capital of Rajasthan. Known for its blend of historic charm and modern life, Jaipur offers a rich cultural experience. Upon arrival, check in to your hotel and enjoy the remainder of the day at leisure. You may wish to relax in the hotel or take an evening stroll through the city. Dinner will be served at the hotel.

After exploring the complex, we continue to Agra and check in to the hotel for the evening.

This extraordinary monument took over 20,000 workers and 17 years to complete, symbolising one of history’s greatest love stories. Afterwards, we explore Agra Fort, a formidable red sandstone fortress housing numerous palaces and Mughal pavilions. Highlights include the Diwan-i-Am, the hall of public audience, and the Diwan-i-Khas, where the emperor met foreign dignitaries.
