Day 1 - Rome
Welcome to Rome. Upon arrival, we will transfer you to your hotel. Later, our guide will meet you to provide all the essential information about your stay. Additional details can also be found on the information board at the hotel reception. In the evening, we will take you to Via Cavour – a great way to familiarise yourself with the city. Here, you’ll find a range of restaurants serving Italian, Indian, Chinese and other international cuisines to suit your tastes.
Please note: This tour may have travellers joining or departing at various points along the route, meaning group composition can change during the tour.
Day 2 - Rome
We begin the day with a three-hour guided tour of Rome, exploring the heart of Imperial Rome on foot before continuing with a panoramic bus ride through the city. Along the way, we will see significant landmarks including the Arch of Constantine, the exterior of the Colosseum, the Imperial Forums, Circus Maximus, the Baths of Caracalla, the Basilica of Saint Mary Major, the Pyramid of Cestius, and Castel Sant’Angelo. The tour concludes at Vatican City around 11:00 a.m., where you can join an optional visit to the Vatican Museums and the Sistine Chapel. Later in the day, we transfer you to the vibrant Trastevere neighbourhood, renowned for its charming restaurants and lively atmosphere. We return to the hotel at approximately 8:30 p.m.
Day 3 - Rome - Florence
Today we leave Rome and travel north, enjoying the scenic countryside en route to Florence. Upon arrival, we head straight to Piazzale Michelangelo, where you can take in stunning panoramic views of the city. From there, we walk to the historic centre for lunch before joining a local expert for a guided tour. We visit key landmarks including the Ponte Vecchio, the Duomo and Piazza della Signoria, experiencing Florence’s remarkable open-air museum atmosphere. Afterwards, you have free time to explore at your own pace. In the evening, the area offers plenty of dining options with a wide range of international cuisines to choose from.
Day 4 - Florence - Venice
Today, we travel from Florence through the striking Apennine Mountains en route to Venice. Upon arrival, we’ll take a boat across the Giudecca Canal to the heart of the city. With a local guide, we will explore the magnificent St. Mark’s Square before visiting a Murano Glass Factory to observe the traditional techniques behind this centuries-old craft. You’ll then have some free time to discover Venice at your own pace. Accommodation is in the Mestre district.
Day 5 - Venice
After breakfast, your journey concludes, leaving you with cherished memories of Venice and the experiences you’ve enjoyed throughout the trip.
