We pass the Longonot earth satellite station and cross the valley to Narok, then continue through fields of wheat and barley to the Maasai Mara, arriving at Mara Sopa Lodge in time for lunch. Set in the Oloolaimutia Valley and built into the surrounding hillside, the lodge reflects Maasai heritage and the area’s rich wildlife and birdlife.
