Itinerary
Day 1 - Nairobi to the Masai Mara
Nairobi - Narok - Masai Mara. We pick you up from your Nairobi hotel or the airport and set off south in the morning, travelling through the floor of the Great Rift Valley. We pause in Narok for a picnic lunch, then continue to the Masai Mara, arriving in the late afternoon – with game viewing en route to camp. We take an early evening game drive, followed by dinner and overnight at Rhino Tourist Camp or similar.
If you've booked to add a balloon safari over the Masai Mara, this will take place over the next two days.
Day 2 - Full Day Masai Mara Safari
After breakfast, we depart Rhino Tourist Camp with picnic lunches for a full-day game drive in the Masai Mara in search of the Big Five. You can opt to add a hot air balloon safari, and in the afternoon you may choose to visit a Masai village. We return to camp later for dinner and an overnight stay – picnic lunch during the drive, dinner and overnight at Rhino Tourist Camp or similar.
Day 3 - Return to Nairobi
Masai Mara - Mai Mahiu - Nairobi. After breakfast, we depart the Masai Mara and drive back towards Nairobi, crossing the floor of the Great Rift Valley. We stop at Mai Mahiu for a picnic lunch, then continue the journey, arriving in Nairobi in the late afternoon.
