Itinerary
Day 1 - Welcome to Morocco
On arrival at Casablanca International Airport, please note that airport transfers are not included today. You will make your own way to the hotel and check in.
In the evening, we enjoy dinner at the hotel. The remainder of the night is at leisure.
Day 2 - Imperial cities and Roman ruins

Casablanca - Meknes - Fes. We begin our exploration of Casablanca in the Habous district, known for its blend of traditional Moroccan architecture and French colonial design. We visit the Royal Palace, Mohamed V Square and the residential area of Anfa, before viewing the impressive Hassan II Mosque - one of the largest mosques in the world, set dramatically on the Atlantic coast.
We then travel to Meknes, the 17th-century Ismaili capital, encircled by 40 km of ramparts. Here, we see the monumental Bab Mansour gate, the Royal Stables and the historic Jewish quarter. We continue to the sacred town of Moulay Driss for panoramic views, followed by a visit to the Roman ruins of Volubilis, a UNESCO-listed site renowned for its mosaics. We arrive in Fez in the evening.
Day 3 - The spiritual and cultural heart of Fes

Today we explore Fez, Morocco’s spiritual and cultural heart. We discover the medieval Medina - one of the world’s largest living historic cities - with its bustling souks and traditional craftsmen. We view the Royal Palace gates and visit either the Attarine or Bou Anania Medersa, both fine examples of Marinid architecture.
We admire the Nejjarine Fountain and see the exterior of the Moulay Idriss Mausoleum and the Karaouine Mosque, one of the oldest universities in the world. You may choose to enjoy an optional lunch in a traditional restaurant within the Medina. We return to the hotel for dinner this evening.
Day 4 - Through the Middle Atlas to the Sahara gateway

Fes - Irfane - Midelt - Erfoud. We journey south towards Erfoud, passing through Imouzzer Kandar and the cedar forests of the Middle Atlas. We stop in Ifrane, a ski resort town often referred to as ‘Little Switzerland’ for its alpine-style architecture, and continue to Azrou.
In Midelt, you may opt for lunch before we travel via Errachidia and along the scenic Ziz Valley, known for its extensive palm groves and date production. We arrive in Erfoud, a town famous for fossils and as the gateway to the Sahara. Dinner is served at the hotel.
Day 5 - Sahara sunset experience

Erfoud - Merzouga. We visit Rissani, birthplace of the Alaouite dynasty and once a key trading post on the trans-Saharan caravan routes to Timbuktu. We explore its lively souk and traditional market. You may enjoy an optional lunch here.
Later, we travel by 4WD vehicle to the dunes of Merzouga. As the sun sets over the Sahara, we take in the changing colours of the sand before settling into our traditional Berber camp. Dinner is served under the desert sky.

Day 6 - Canyons and kasbahs

Merzouga - Erfoud - Tinghir - Quarzazate. We travel by 4WD back to Erfoud and continue towards Tinghir. Here, we visit the dramatic Todra Canyons, where sheer rock walls rise up to 250 m, creating one of Morocco’s most striking natural landscapes. You may choose to have lunch at a local restaurant near the canyons.
In the afternoon, we drive along the Road of 1000 Kasbahs, passing through Kalaat M’Gouna and the Skoura Valley, known for its palm groves and fortified villages. Upon arrival in Ouarzazate, we enjoy a short city tour before dinner.
Day 7 - Atlas Mountains and Ait Benhaddou

Quarzazate - Ait Benhaddou - Marrakech. We depart for Marrakech, stopping at Ait Benhaddou to explore its UNESCO-listed kasbah. This well-preserved ksar has featured in numerous films and series, including Lawrence of Arabia and Gladiator. You may opt for lunch here before continuing.
We then cross the High Atlas Mountains via the Tizi n’Tichka Pass at 2,260 m, enjoying sweeping mountain views along the way. We arrive in Marrakech in the evening and enjoy dinner at the hotel.
Day 8 - Marrakech - the ochre city

We begin our guided tour of Marrakech with visits to the Menara Gardens, the Bahia Palace and the Koutoubia Mosque, whose 12th-century minaret dominates the skyline. We also visit the Dar Si Said Museum. Lunch is included at the hotel.
In the afternoon, we explore the souks and artisan quarters before visiting the lively Jemaa el-Fna Square, the heart of the city. In the evening, you may choose to attend an optional dinner and traditional show.
Day 9 - Return to the coast

Marrakech - Casablanca. After breakfast, we travel to Casablanca. You may enjoy lunch at a local restaurant of your choice. The afternoon is free for you to relax or explore at your own pace before we gather for dinner.
Day 10 - Farewell Morocco
The tour concludes today in Casablanca. Please note that departure transfers are not included.
After breakfast, please make your own way to Casablanca International Airport for your onward flight.
