Itinerary
Day 1 - Arrival in Porto

Once you have arrived in Porto, you will be met and transferred to the hotel. You will have the rest of the day at leisure to start exploring Porto, grab a meal, or relax after your journey.
Day 2 - Half Day Tour of Porto

Today, you will meet your guide in the hotel lobby for a half-day sightseeing tour of Porto.
You will explore the historic city centre on foot, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, discovering its characterful streets while learning about the city’s history and culture. Along the way, you will pass landmarks including the Lello Bookshop, associated with the Harry Potter books and films, the golden Church of St Francis, and the impressive Palácio da Bolsa, noted for its granite work and Neo-Arabic influences.
The tour continues to the picturesque Douro riverfront, where you can admire the iconic Dom Luís I Bridge and see the famous Port Wine cellars that brought worldwide recognition to the city.
As you stroll through the city, you will stop at typical establishments to taste some of Porto’s best delicacies. The experience ends with a visit to one of the Port Wine cellars, where you will enjoy a wine tasting.
A transfer will take you back to your hotel. The rest of the day is free for you to spend at leisure.
Day 3 - Douro Cruise Embarkation

Porto - Vila Nova de Gaia - Cais da Ribeira. This morning, after checking out of your hotel, a private transfer will take you to Vila Nova de Gaia to begin your Douro cruise experience.
At 6 PM, boarding begins at Cais de Gaia, where you will be welcomed with a cocktail. Dinner will be served on board, and later you will moor at Cais da Ribeira, where you will spend the night.
Day 4 - Sailing to Pinhao

Cais de Ribeira - Pinhao. After an early breakfast, you will set sail at around 7 AM for Pinhão.
During the journey, the Chef will present a Culinary Delight demonstration, followed by a tasting of the dishes prepared on board.
At approximately 5:30 PM, you will arrive in Pinhão, regarded as the geographical centre of the Douro Demarcated Region. This evening, you will dine at a local winery that produces Douro wines.
Day 5 - Régua & Lamego

Pinhao - Lamego - Leverinho. After breakfast, you will depart at 7 AM for Régua. On arrival, you will continue to Lamego for a tour of the city, ending with a tasting of local products.
At around 1 PM, you will sail towards Leverinho Quay. During the journey, you will have the opportunity to attend a presentation titled Douro - River and Region, led by a regional expert.
Once in Leverinho, you will enjoy dinner on board with a Portuguese Night theme. In the evening, you can also watch a folklore show taking place on the cruise.
Day 6 - Return to Porto & Disembarkation

Leverinho - Cais de Ribeira (Porto). Early this morning, you will set sail at 7 AM for Gaia, arriving at approximately 9 AM.
After breakfast on board, you will check out at 10 AM and disembark at Cais da Ribeira. You will then be transferred to the airport. Safe travels!

All departure dates are guaranteed with a minimum of 8 cabins. 'Twin/Double' prices are per person when there are 2 people on the same booking sharing a room. 'Single' prices are applicable to solo travellers wanting the privacy of their own room, or if your booking party cannot reach the minimum of 2 persons in a room. Room sharing is not available on this tour.
