Day 1 - New York
Welcome to New York. On arrival, we arrange your transfer to the hotel, after which you have free time to settle in at your own pace. During the afternoon we will provide information about the start of the circuit – alternatively, you can check the information panels in the hotel reception area.
Please note: This tour may have travellers joining or departing at various points along the route, meaning group composition can change during the tour. Please also be aware that depending on group composition, guiding may be in additional languages as well as English.
Day 2 - New York
After breakfast, we set off on a panoramic city tour taking in Upper, Midtown and Lower Manhattan. We visit Wall Street, Rockefeller Center, St Patrick’s Cathedral, Central Park, Columbus Circle, the AOL/Time Warner Building, the Village, Little Italy and Battery Park – with a panoramic view of the Statue of Liberty.In the evening, we include a transfer to Times Square – the city’s bustling heart, famed for Broadway’s musicals and its spectacular lights. Note – if the confirmed hotel is in the Times Square area, no additional transfer is provided.
Day 3 - New York - Boston
We depart New York for Boston, Massachusetts, arriving around midday. We then set out on a panoramic tour of a city central to US independence, taking in Beacon Hill, Harvard University, the gardens of Boston Common and Trinity Church. We finish at Quincy Market – a busy waterfront area with shops and restaurants – where you’ll have free time before we return to the hotel.
Day 4 - Boston - Woodstock - Montreal
After breakfast, we travel north through New Hampshire and Vermont, pausing in Woodstock – a charming town noted for its restored Georgian houses. We then cross the Canadian border and continue to Montreal for our overnight stay.
Day 5 - Montreal - Quebec
After breakfast, we set off on a morning panoramic tour of Montreal, taking in Mount Royal Park, Saint Joseph’s Oratory and the cathedral. After lunch, we depart for Quebec City – on arrival, we check in for the night.
Day 6 - Quebec
After breakfast, we head out on a morning panoramic tour of Québec City, taking in key sights including the Château Frontenac, Place Royale, Sainte Anne de Beaupré and the Citadelle. The afternoon is free – you could visit Montmorency Falls.
Day 7 - Quebec - Sainte-Agathe-des-Monts - Mont-Tremblant - Ottawa
After breakfast, we journey through the Laurentian Hills – a day of classic Canadian scenery. We stop in the charming town of Sainte Agathe des Monts before continuing to Mont Tremblant, renowned for its world famous ski resort. We then travel on to Ottawa – the capital of Canada – for our overnight stay.
Day 8 - Ottawa - Thousand Islands - Toronto
After breakfast, we explore Ottawa on a guided city tour, including the Rideau Canal and the Parliament Buildings – in July and August we also watch the Changing of the Guard. We then continue to Gananoque for a sightseeing cruise on the St Lawrence River through the Thousand Islands. After disembarking, we travel south to Toronto, arriving at our hotel late in the afternoon.
Day 9 - Toronto
After breakfast, we set out on a guided tour of Toronto, taking in Chinatown, City Hall, the Financial District, the Eaton Centre, Casa Loma and other key sights. The afternoon is free – you can visit the CN Tower, shop at the Eaton Centre or explore the Underground City, a 25 km network of shopping galleries beneath the financial district. In the evening, you can head to Queens Quay, a lively area with plenty of restaurants. Overnight in Toronto.
Day 10 - Toronto - Niagara-on-the-Lake - Niagara Falls - Toronto
After breakfast we drive to the beautiful town of Niagara-on-the-Lake, where you’ll have time to wander at your own pace. We then continue to Niagara Falls, stopping at the Floral Clock for photos before boarding the Hornblower Niagara Cruise – a small boat that takes us to the foot of the falls. Afterwards, you can use your free time to explore the Clifton Hill attractions. We return to Toronto in the afternoon for the night.
Day 11 - Toronto
In Toronto, after breakfast, our journey concludes and our services end. You can depart at your convenience or use any remaining time to explore independently.
