Chinese toilets were a challenge for my wife. So much so she would wait until we got back to the hotel or she could find a "western" toilet. She actually could not "go" when crouched.

We appreciated our guide Kevin (beijin to xian) and Sam’s (Guilin) guidance and they made our stay as comfortable as possible. The great wall trip was most memorable and not crowded. The xian muslim quarter market was very enjoyable. It would be better if there was English subtitles for the Xian puppet show. The hotel in Xian and Luoyang smelled like cigarettes and Xian hotel needs new wallpaper. Opening the windows before our arrival would make a big difference.

Signature Journeys10Cyrus- our first tour guide was exceptional, the Great Wall The last hotel accommodation in Shanghal was poor, reception was not very helpful, When asking for assistance with water, where to buy milk for a cup of tea they were just rude. That being said was the only issue on the whole trip we had. Small group was excellent, bus drivers were great.
