Itinerary
Day 1 - Arrival in Baku & Highland Park
Once you have arrived at Heydar Aliyev International Airport, you will be met and transferred to the hotel for check-in. You will have some time at leisure to start exploring, grab a meal or relax.
Later, you will visit Highland Park for panoramic views across the city, including the Flame Towers, as well as Martyrs' Lane and the Eternal Flame Monument. You will also see key landmarks including the Heydar Aliyev Cultural Center, Baku Conference Center, Boulevard, Little Venice, Carpet Museum, Baku Crystal Hall, Flag Square and the Baku Ferris Wheel. After the tour, you will be transferred to your hotel for an overnight stay in Baku.
Day 2 - Baku City Tour
This morning, you will explore the past, present and future of Baku on a guided city tour, visiting key locations that reflect the city’s development from the 5th century through the Soviet era to independence.
You will begin in the Old City, the historic walled centre, where you will visit the House of Baku Khans, Bukhara and Multani Caravanserais, Maiden Tower, the city’s landmark structure, St. Bartholomew Church, Juma Mosque and Muhammad Mosque, Aga Mikayil Bath House, the Miniature Books Museum and the Palace of the Shirvanshahs, a former royal residence.
The tour continues to the Heydar Aliyev Cultural Center, known for its distinctive modern design, followed by a visit to Highland Park for panoramic views over the city.
You will then stop at Baku Boulevard along the Caspian Sea, where you will visit the Carpet Museum, showcasing traditional Azerbaijani craftsmanship, and the Little Venice area with its canals.
Your final stop is Nizami Street and Fountain Square, a lively central area. After the tour, you will be transferred to your hotel.
Day 3 - Exploring the Absheron Peninsula
Today, you will explore the Absheron Peninsula and its connection to ancient fire-worshipping traditions.
You will visit Ateshgah, a castle-like Fire Temple historically used as a place of worship for Hindu, Sikh and Zoroastrian communities. The tour continues to Yanar Dag, known as the Burning Mountain, where natural gas flames burn continuously on a hillside.
After returning to the city centre, you will have free time to explore Baku at your own pace. You will then be transferred back to your hotel for an overnight stay in Baku.
Day 4 - Departure from Baku
After your final breakfast, you may have some free time for last-minute shopping, further exploring, or simply relaxing before your transfer to the airport for your onward flight. Safe travels!
