Day 1 - Kuala Lumpur

Welcome to Kuala Lumpur! On arrival, you'll be collected and taken to your hotel by private transfer. The rest of your first day in Malaysia is free for you to relax or head out and start exploring.

Day 2 - Kuala Lumpur at Leisure

Spend your day at leisure in Kuala Lumpur exploring at your own pace. Visit the Petronas Twin Towers for skyline views or browse the Suria KLCC mall below. Take a walk through the Bukit Bintang area for shopping and casual dining. If you're interested in culture, the Islamic Arts Museum and National Mosque are nearby. For something more relaxed, unwind in the Lake Gardens or visit the KL Bird Park. Chinatown offers street food and market stalls, while Jalan Alor is ideal for a casual dinner. Getting around is easy by taxi or public transport, with most attractions centrally located. Day 3 - Kuala Lumpur Sightseeing & Batu Caves

Begin today with a visit to the Batu Caves. The caves are a Hindu temple, and the main attraction is the huge statue of a Hindu god at the entrance. To enter the caves, there are 272 steps to climb.

Back in Kuala Lumpur, enjoy an afternoon heritage tour to some of the city's centuries-old colonial structures. This tour covers Jamek Mosque, The Colonial Core, Central Market, Sin Sze Si Ya Temple, Sri Maha Mariamman Temple, Little India, as well as Chinatown. The tour ends back at the hotel, and your final evening in the Malay capital is at leisure.

Day 4 - Ipoh and George Town, Penang

Kuala Lumpur - Ipoh - George Town. You're leaving KL behind today, making the 2.5 hour journey to Ipoh. Wander the Ipoh Heritage Trail to discover the old colonial buildings of this former mining town and check out some of Ipoh's famous street art.

You will also visit the Kek Lok Tong Cave Temple, home to impressive stalactites and stalagmites. You then continue your journey to Penang island, and it's capital - George Town. After hotel check in, the evening is at leisure.

Please note: Should Kek Lok Tong Cave Temple be closed, we will replace it with nearby Sam Poh Tong Temple.

Day 5 - Penang Exploration

It's a busy day today as you embark on an 8-hour guided tour of Penang island. Your sightseeing begins as you take in the the famous Kek Lok Si Temple in the centre of the island. You then discover the best of George Town, including St Georges Church, Sri Mahamariaman Temple, Khoo Kongsi and some of the city's iconic murals and street art.

Lunch is served in a historic colonial house before you continue to the Pinang Peranakan Mansion, for a deep dive into the Baba-Nyonya heritage of the island. This grand mansion blends Chinese and European styles and is home to thousands of artefacts. You'll also take in the island's Reclining Buddha at Wat Chayamangkalaram. This is one of the world's largest reclining Buddha statues, at more than 108 feet. The tour ends back at the hotel in George Town.

Day 6 - Penang at Leisure

Today is completely free for you to spend how you like. You could begin at the Penang Botanic Gardens for a peaceful morning walk among lush greenery and cheeky macaques. Then, head to the Penang State Museum to delve into the island’s colonial and multicultural past. For lunch, try a local kopitiam for traditional coffee and Penang-style toast. In the afternoon, browse the antique shops and independent galleries along Armenian Street and explore the heritage mansions tucked away in quieter corners of town. As evening falls, enjoy the sunset from the Esplanade before sampling local hawker fare at the bustling New Lane night market.

Day 7 - Fly to Langkawi

George Town - Langkawi. Your Malaysian adventure continues as you are transferred to the airport for your flight north to Pulau Langkawi the largest of the 99 islands that make up the Langkawi archipelago and one of only four that are inhabited. Pulau Langkawi is renowned for its stunning beaches, some of the best in Malaysia and its landscapes, protected as part of a UNESCO Global Geopark. Your first evening in Langkawi is at leisure.

Days 8-11 - Langkawi at Leisure

With four free days in Langkawi, you’ve got plenty of time to enjoy both its beaches and natural beauty. Spend some time unwinding on one of the island's tropical beaches - rent a sun lounger, sip fresh coconut water, and take a dip in the Andaman Sea. You could also explore Langkawi’s inland wonders: take the cable car up to Gunung Mat Cincang for panoramic views, walk the Sky Bridge, and visit the Seven Wells Waterfall nearby. For something different, consider a guided mangrove tour through Kilim Karst Geoforest Park, where you’ll cruise past limestone cliffs, spot eagles, and learn about the island’s unique ecosystems.
