Itinerary
Day 1 - Panama City to the San Blas Islands
Panama City - San Blas Islands. Arrive in Panama City a day before the start of the tour. You will be picked up from your accommodation at 5 AM on day 1.
You will then travel by 4x4 vehicle through jungle landscapes as the sun rises, making your way towards the Caribbean coast. On arrival at the Kuna Yala border, you stop briefly to complete immigration formalities and pay the required entrance fees.
From the port, you board a shared boat transfer and cross clear Caribbean waters, enjoying your first views of the islands of the San Blas archipelago. Once you arrive on your island, you have free time to settle in, unpack and relax. You can spend this time on the beach, swimming in the surrounding waters or simply adjusting to island life.
Later, you join a guided walk around the island, giving you an introduction to the beaches, lagoons and local environment.
Please note: there are no supermarket stops along the way, so you should purchase any snacks, drinks and water the day before departure.
Day 2 - Island Experiences in the San Blas Islands
Today, after breakfast on the island, you enjoy a relaxed start to the day. Later in the morning, you travel to the Natural Pool, where you can wade in shallow, calm waters surrounded by coral reef. This is time to swim, relax and enjoy the clear water, with no waves or strong currents.
You then continue to Perro Island, also known as Dog Island. Here, you have the opportunity to swim and snorkel in clear waters among colourful fish. For those who wish, there is the chance to snorkel above a sunken army gunboat resting beneath the surface, now home to marine life.
The afternoon is free for you to spend at your own pace. You can relax on the beach, rest under palm trees, explore the island or swim in the surrounding lagoons.
In the evening, you enjoy dinner on the island before watching the sun set over the Caribbean Sea, bringing the day to a close.
Day 3 - Snorkelling & Island Leisure
This morning, you head into the clear turquoise waters of the San Blas Islands for swimming and snorkelling. You can explore coral reefs and observe a variety of tropical fish that thrive in these warm, shallow seas.
After time in the water, the rest of the day is at your leisure. You can relax on the beach, rest in a hammock beneath the palm trees or take a gentle walk along the shoreline. Lunch is enjoyed on the island, and you are free to return to the sea for a swim whenever you wish.
As evening approaches, you have time to unwind and reflect on the day before sitting down to dinner on the island, with the sound of the ocean providing a calm end to the day.
Day 4 - Return to Panama City
San Blas Islands - Panama City. After your final breakfast, you will depart the San Blas Islands and board a shared boat at around 8 AM for the journey back across the Caribbean, with final views of the islands as you travel towards the mainland.
On arrival at the port, you transfer to a 4x4 vehicle and travel through jungle landscapes, gradually leaving the remote coastline behind as you make your way back to Panama City.
You arrive in Panama City later in the day and are dropped off, free to make your way to your next destination or the airport for your onward flight.
