Begin with Boston’s revolutionary landmarks before heading north to the White Mountains of New Hampshire for sweeping vistas from Cannon Mountain. Day 1 - Discovering Boston
You will be met and transferred once you have arrived at Boston International Airport, where you'll have an introductory meeting before embarking on a guided tour of Boston, a city rich in history and architectural beauty. You'll drive along key sections of the iconic Freedom Trail, passing historic sites that showcase Boston's integral role in the American Revolution.
Your tour includes a visit to the North End, a neighbourhood deeply rooted in colonial history. Here, you'll have the chance to see Paul Revere's former home and the renowned Old North Church, which played a pivotal role at the start of the Revolution. This drive will offer insights into how Boston seamlessly blends its historic past with its modern identity.
After the tour, you'll enjoy a welcome dinner featuring local seafood. Afterwards, you'll check into your hotel for the night.

Day 2 - White Mountains & Franconia Notch Adventure
Boston - Franconia Notch State Park - Sugar Hill. This morning, you will depart from the city and travel north to the stunning White Mountains of New Hampshire. On arrival at Franconia Notch State Park, we’ll experience the famous Cannon Mountain Aerial Tramway. This thrilling ride carries us to the summit of Cannon Mountain, offering expansive views of vibrant autumn foliage and the surrounding peaks.
Afterward, you'll visit The Basin, a tranquil granite pothole shaped by cascading waters, ideal for photos and quiet contemplation. Our day concludes with an overnight stay in the picturesque town of Sugar Hill, set amidst the breathtaking autumn colours of New England.

Day 3 - Journey to Smugglers’ Notch & Stowe
Sugar Hill - Smugglers Notch - Stowe. After breakfast, you will venture to Stowe, a quintessential New England village surrounded by brilliant autumn colours. Throughout the day, you can enjoy the crisp autumn air and stunning views and embrace the unique charm that makes Vermont a premier fall destination. Here, you can wander the charming streets, admire the iconic white-steepled church, and experience the town’s lively local culture.
From here, you will embark on a scenic drive up Smugglers’ Notch, a dramatic mountain pass carved by glaciers. As you navigate the narrow, tree-lined roads, you'll pause at stunning viewpoints to capture sweeping vistas of the vibrant autumn colours.
Your journey continues with a taste of Vermont's culinary delights. You’ll visit a local cheese producer to savour artisanal cheeses made from fresh, local ingredients. Then, you can indulge your sweet tooth at a nearby chocolate shop, sampling delectable treats crafted from Vermont’s finest offerings.

Day 4 - Autumn Journey to Whiteface Mountain & Lake Placid
Stowe - Whiteface - Lake Placid. Today, you begin your day in the picturesque village of Stowe, immersed in Vermont's stunning autumn scenery. You will then cross into New York to explore the majestic Adirondack Mountains. During your drive, appreciate the landscape as it bursts into a vivid display of crimson, gold, and orange.
Your first stop is Whiteface Mountain, a prominent peak in the Adirondacks. You will ascend to the summit through the Veterans’ Memorial Highway, pausing at several overlooks to take in sweeping views of the wilderness, shimmering lakes, and rolling mountains, all aglow with fall colours.
In the evening, you will arrive at the historic Olympic village of Lake Placid, nestled by the peaceful shores of Mirror Lake. You have the opportunity to enjoy a delightful dinner featuring local cuisine and relish the warm atmosphere of this alpine town. Later, you can unwind at your hotel situated in Lake Placid, enveloped by the tranquil autumnal beauty of the Adirondacks.

Day 5 - Lake Placid to Woodstock
Lake Placide - Vermont Countryside - Woodestock. Today, you leave behind the alpine allure of Lake Placid and embark on a scenic journey through the heart of New England's autumn splendour. As you travel through the Green Mountains, enjoy the winding roads that reveal breathtaking views of the region's vibrant foliage, rolling hills, and picturesque farms enroute to Woodstock. This idyllic route perfectly encapsulates Vermont's quintessential autumn charm.
Once you have arrived in Woodstock, you'll discover why National Geographic calls it “the prettiest small town in America.” With its tree-lined streets, historic colonial homes, and the iconic town green, Woodstock embodies classic New England appeal. Landmarks such as the Middle-Covered Bridge and the grand Woodstock Inn further enhance its postcard-perfect setting.
Here, you can explore the town at leisure, visiting quaint shops, galleries, and inviting cafés. You can experience firsthand the charm and elegance that make Woodstock a timeless symbol of Vermont's grace. After, make your way to the hotel to spend the night.

Day 6 - Quechee Gorge, Concord & Lexington to Boston
Woodstock - Concord - Lexington - Boston. After your final breakfast, you will bid farewell to the charming village of Woodstock, as you embark on your journey back to Boston. Your first stop is Quechee Gorge, known as Vermont's "Little Grand Canyon." Here, you will enjoy stunning views of the 165-foot deep gorge, carved by the Ottauquechee River, and take a short walk along the trails to appreciate this iconic landmark.
You then continue your drive south, crossing into Massachusetts, to visit Concord, a town steeped in American literary and Revolutionary War history. Here, you may choose to explore Walden Pond, made famous by Henry David Thoreau, or visit the Old North Bridge, the site of the iconic "shot heard 'round the world," marking the start of the American Revolution.
Next, you proceed to Lexington, another historical treasure. A walk along the Lexington Battle Green offers insights into the first skirmishes of the Revolution, providing a glimpse into the events that shaped America's fight for independence.
Finally, you arrive in Boston, a city where history meets modernity. Your tour concludes here at approximately 6 PM. After, you will be transferred to the airport for your onward flight. Safe Travels!
