Itinerary
Day 1 - Kilimanjaro - Arusha
Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, a tour representative will welcome you and assist with your transfer to Arusha. The afternoon is yours to relax at the hotel or explore Arusha at your own pace. Overnight accommodation is arranged in Arusha.
Day 2 - Arusha - Dodoma
After breakfast, we set off for Tarangire National Park. Upon entering the park, we begin a game drive en route to the lodge, arriving in time for lunch. After lunch and some time to enjoy the lodge’s facilities, we head out on an afternoon game drive. We return to the lodge to watch the sunset, followed by dinner and an overnight stay in Tarangire.
Day 3 - Endabash
We begin the day with an early morning game drive, returning to the lodge for breakfast. Afterwards, we depart for Lake Manyara National Park, arriving at the lodge in time for lunch. After a chance to relax and enjoy the lodge’s facilities, we set out on an afternoon game drive. We return to the lodge to watch the sunset, followed by dinner and an overnight stay at the lodge.
Day 4 - Robanda
We depart for Serengeti National Park, arriving at the camp in time for lunch. After a chance to relax and enjoy the camp’s facilities, we head out on an afternoon game drive. As the sun sets, we return to camp for dinner and an overnight stay surrounded by the vast Serengeti plains.
Day 5 - Robanda
After breakfast at the lodge, we set out on a morning game drive through Serengeti National Park. Renowned for its vast wildlife populations and the annual Great Migration of wildebeests, zebras and gazelles, the park also offers striking landscapes to admire. During the morning and afternoon drives, you will see a variety of habitats including riverine forests, woodlands, rocky kopjes and volcanic grasslands. These diverse environments provide excellent opportunities to spot the Big Five—lion, elephant, buffalo, leopard and rhinoceros—as well as numerous bird and reptile species. We pause around midday for lunch back at the lodge before heading out for the afternoon game drive. The day concludes with dinner at the lodge and an overnight stay in the Serengeti.
Day 6 - Ilturot Lorkereyan
We depart for the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, enjoying game viewing along the way. We stop at Olduvai Gorge, a significant archaeological site where the Leakey family made key discoveries. Here, you can visit a small museum displaying some of the artefacts found. We also visit a Maasai village to experience local culture. Arriving at the lodge in the late afternoon, you have some time to relax before we gather for a special Boma dinner. Overnight is at the lodge in Ngorongoro.
Day 7 - Ilturot Lorkereyan
We depart early to descend into the Ngorongoro Crater floor for a full day of game viewing. Covering just 102 square miles yet home to over 30,000 mammals, the crater offers excellent opportunities to spot the Big Five. We provide a picnic lunch to enjoy at a scenic spot within the crater. In the afternoon, we return to the crater rim before heading back to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 8 - Arusha
After breakfast, we depart for Arusha, arriving at Arusha Coffee Lodge in time for lunch. Following your meal, you will be transferred to Arusha Airport or Kilimanjaro International Airport to continue your onward journey.
