Welcome to Costa Rica. Upon arrival, a local representative will meet you at the airport and assist with your shared transfer to the hotel in San José. After check-in, you will have leisure time to refresh and settle into your room. You may choose to explore the city and its surroundings at your own pace this afternoon. Overnight in San José.

We begin the day with an early check-out from the hotel. At around 6:00 am, a local representative will collect you from the lobby for a shared transfer to Tortuguero National Park on the North Caribbean Coast. En route, we stop in Guápiles at approximately 8:30 am for breakfast before continuing to La Pavona dock. Here, you will board a shared boat to the lodge, where you can settle into a peaceful and tranquil setting. Check-in is around 1:00 pm, followed by a delicious included lunch. At 2:30 pm, meet your guide for an expedition through the Tortuguero Canals – a highlight of the region. As we navigate the lagoons and narrower canals, you’ll have the chance to observe local wildlife up close. The remainder of the afternoon is yours to relax at leisure. Overnight in Tortuguero.

After breakfast at the lodge, meet your guide at 9:00 am for a walk along the lodge’s private trails, offering a close encounter with the local flora and fauna. The rest of the morning is yours to unwind—take a refreshing dip in the pool or simply relax in the tranquil surroundings. At 2:30 pm, join your guide for a visit to the charming village of Tortuguero, where you can explore its small streets and local life. Return to the lodge afterwards to rest. After breakfast at the lodge, check out and prepare for departure around 9:30 am. We will travel by shared boat and land transfer from Tortuguero to a restaurant in Guápiles city, where lunch is included. Following lunch, at approximately 1:30 pm, a local representative will meet you for a shared transfer to Puerto Viejo, a vibrant Caribbean beach town. Upon arrival around 4:30 pm, check in at your hotel and enjoy some free time to relax and make use of the hotel facilities. Overnight in Puerto Viejo.

Breakfast at the hotel. Spend the day at your leisure to relax or explore Puerto Viejo and its nearby beaches independently. Enjoy the vibrant Caribbean atmosphere and take time to discover the local culture and natural surroundings at your own pace. Overnight in Puerto Viejo.

After breakfast, check out of the hotel and meet your local representative in the lobby at around 9:30 am for your transfer to La Fortuna de San Carlos, the gateway to the impressive Arenal Volcano. You will arrive at your hotel in Arenal at approximately 3:00 pm, where you can settle in and enjoy some free time to relax or explore the stunning natural surroundings at your own pace. Overnight in Arenal.

After breakfast at the hotel, enjoy a full day at leisure to relax or explore the Arenal region independently. This area offers a variety of natural attractions and opportunities to discover at your own pace. Overnight in Arenal.

After breakfast at the hotel, check out and meet your local representative at 8:00 am for a shared transfer to Tamarindo beach on the North Pacific Coast in Guanacaste Province. You will arrive around 1:00 pm and check in at your hotel. The afternoon is yours to relax at the resort or explore the vibrant beach town at your leisure. Overnight in Tamarindo.

After breakfast at the hotel, enjoy a full day at leisure to unwind and soak up the tropical atmosphere of Tamarindo beach. Take the time to relax by the sea, explore the local area at your own pace, or simply enjoy the resort’s facilities. Overnight in Tamarindo.

Breakfast is included before check-out. At around 8:00 am, we will meet you in the hotel lobby for a shared transfer back to San José. You will arrive in the city at approximately 1:00 pm, where you can check in to your hotel and spend the afternoon at your leisure—either relaxing or exploring San José independently. Overnight in San José.

After breakfast, check out of the hotel. At the arranged time, we will collect you from the lobby for a shared transfer to Juan Santamaría International Airport, where you will board your flight home.
