Itinerary
Day 1 - Ica Wine Route

We depart from your hotel in Lima and travel south along the Pan American Highway to Ica, a region of vineyards, desert landscapes and pisco heritage. Our first stop is the Huacachina Lagoon, a natural oasis encircled by towering sand dunes – one of the most iconic sights on Peru’s coast.
We continue to La Hacienda La Caravedo, founded in 1684 and the oldest continuously operating distillery in the Americas. Here we learn about the craft of Peru’s national spirit and enjoy a guided tasting. Next is Tacama, South America’s oldest vineyard, established in 1540. We take a guided tour and taste a selection of wines, sparkling wines and piscos, then sit down to a regional lunch at the vineyard’s restaurant. The day ends with an overnight stay at Vinas Queirolo Hotel, set among the vines. In the evening we enjoy a pisco experience dinner – a fitting pairing of local flavours and tradition.
Day 2 - Ica Vineyard Experience & Return to Lima

Wake to vineyard views at Vinas Queirolo, set among the vines in the Ica Valley. We join a sommelier for a guided walk through the hotel’s vineyards to observe the vine lifecycle up close and learn about the steps behind wine and pisco production – from the grapes in the field to the processes used on site. We then continue to the hotel’s viewpoint for wide views over the vineyards, the valley and the hotel, enjoyed with a glass of sparkling wine or a refreshing white. At the scheduled time, we return to Lima.
