After, you will return to your hotel.
Day 2 - Baku Through the Ages

After breakfast, you will explore Baku’s past, present and future, beginning in the Old City, a UNESCO-listed area with history dating back to the 5th century. As you walk through its narrow streets, you visit landmarks such as the Palace of the Shirvanshahs, Maiden Tower, House of Baku Khans, Multani Caravansarai, Juma Mosque, Muhammad Mosque, St. Bartholomew Church, Aga Mikayil Bath House and the Miniature Books Museum, giving you a clear sense of the city’s cultural and historical development.

Later, you head to Baku Boulevard along the Caspian Sea, where you visit the Carpet Museum and Little Venice. Your day continues at Nizami Street and Fountain Square, lively areas filled with shops and cafés, before you are transferred back to the hotel.
Day 3 - Fire Worship & Natural Flames

Baku - Absheron Peninsula - Baku. This morning, you will travel to the Absheron Peninsula to explore sites linked to Azerbaijan’s long history of fire worship. Your first stop is Ateshgah, a castle-like Fire Temple that has served as a place of worship for Zoroastrians, Hindus and Sikhs, reflecting the region’s historical role along ancient trade routes.
You then continue to Yanar Dag, known as the Burning Mountain, where natural gas flames have been burning continuously on a hillside for centuries. This rare phenomenon offers a striking example of the natural forces that shaped the country’s identity as the “Land of Fire.”
After returning to Baku, you will have free time in the city centre to explore at your own pace, relax at a café or continue sightseeing. Later, you will be transferred back to your hotel.
Day 4 - Regional Landscapes & Mountain Experiences

Baku - Shamakhi - Gabala - Baku / Baku - Guba - Gusar - Baku. Today, you will have the choice of two full-day experiences, each offering a different perspective of Azerbaijan’s natural landscapes and regional heritage. These vary by season, with snow-covered scenery and winter activities in the colder months, and greenery with cooler temperatures during the rest of the year.
