Itinerary
Day 1 - Split - Zadar
Arrive at Split Airport and transfer directly to Zadar, where you will spend the night. This initial journey sets the tone for your Croatian adventure, moving from the airport to the historic coastal city known for its rich heritage and vibrant atmosphere. Overnight accommodation is arranged in Zadar for your convenience.
Day 2 - Zadar
After breakfast at the hotel, we set out for a day of hiking in Paklenica National Park. During the walk, we pause for a picnic break—please note that lunch is not included. Later, we return to Zadar for a guided walking tour of the old town, a site rich in archaeological and medieval heritage. Alongside historic monuments, you’ll see modern architectural highlights such as the Sea Organ, an innovative installation that creates music from the movement of the sea through tubes beneath marble steps. We conclude the day with dinner at one of Zadar’s finest restaurants, which is included. Overnight in Zadar.
Day 3 - Zadar
After breakfast at the hotel, we set off for Plitvice Lakes National Park for a day of hiking. The park’s unique karst landscape is shaped by the interaction of less porous dolomite and porous Jurassic limestone, which influences water retention and the formation of canyons. Tufa barriers here help maintain the lakes’ water levels, creating a remarkable natural environment. We will explore the park’s trails on foot, taking in its stunning lakes and waterfalls. After the hike, we return to the hotel in Zadar for the evening.
Day 4 - Zadar - Split - Dol
After breakfast, we travel to Krka National Park to explore its famous travertine waterfalls on foot. We follow an 8.5-kilometre trail with an altitude change of 176 metres, beginning at Lake Visovac and ending at the parking area. Along the way, we take a short boat ride from Stinice to Visovac Island, offering a unique perspective of the park. Afterwards, we transfer to Split Harbour to board the ferry to Supetar Port on Brač Island, where a bus will take you to your hotel for the night.
Day 5 - Dol
We begin the day with a walking tour across the scenic landscapes and traditional villages of Brač Island. Starting in the tranquil village of Ložišća, you’ll admire the iconic Rendic Bell Tower, a striking landmark that reflects the island’s rich heritage. We follow ancient paths through olive groves and vineyards, arriving at the quiet village of Dračevice, known for its deep historical roots and local wine traditions. The route continues past stone quarries that reveal Brač’s unique geology and its famous white limestone, used in notable architectural works worldwide. We visit the Jakšić Gallery, where local artisans display intricate sculptures and carvings crafted from this distinctive stone. The day concludes with a wine tasting session featuring select local wines paired with a platter of regional delicacies, offering a true taste of Brač’s character. Overnight on Brač Island.
Day 6 - Dol
After breakfast, we travel by bus to Vidova Gora, the highest peak on Brač Island, before continuing on foot via Dragovode towards the historic Blaca Hermitage. Founded in the 16th century by Glagolitic priests fleeing the Turks from Poljica, this remote monastery can only be reached on foot along a path long used by mules and horses. We will visit the Museum of Blaca to explore its unique history and cultural significance. Afterwards, we hike back to the bus for the transfer to the hotel. Overnight on Brač Island.
Day 7 - Split - Trogir
After breakfast, we travel by bus to Supetar Port and board the ferry to Split. Upon arrival, we take a short guided walk through the city’s historic centre. Following a lunch break (not included), we transfer to our hotel. Later in the afternoon, we head to Trogir, a UNESCO World Heritage site since 1997, renowned for its exceptional historical legacy and well-preserved monuments. The town’s name likely derives from the nearby Kozjak mountain, and its compact old town can be explored on foot in just 750 steps, revealing layers of history from Illyrians, Greeks, Romans, Slavs and Croats. We finish the day with dinner at a local restaurant before returning to the hotel for overnight in Trogir.
Day 8 - Split
After breakfast, we will transfer you to Split Airport at the arranged time for your onward flight.
