Day 1 - Prague
Welcome to Prague. Upon arrival at the airport, we will transfer you to your hotel. Please check the information boards in the hotel reception for details about the welcome meeting with your guide. In the evening, we will take you to the lively Old Town Square, where you can enjoy dinner at one of the many restaurants offering a variety of international cuisines, including Czech, Chinese, Indian, and Italian. After dinner, we will transfer you back to the hotel for a restful night.
Please note: This tour may have travellers joining or departing at various points along the route, meaning group composition can change during the tour.
Day 2 - Prague
Today we explore Prague, often called the Baroque jewel of Europe. With our local guide, we’ll take an informative panoramic tour, highlighting the city’s most remarkable monuments. Included is a visit to Prague Castle, a historic complex offering stunning views and rich heritage. Afterwards, we’ll enjoy a scenic boat ride along the Vltava River. In the afternoon, you’ll have free time to explore Prague at your own pace.
Day 3 - Prague - Munich - Innsbruck
We depart early and travel to Bavaria, Germany, arriving in Munich around midday. You’ll have free time to explore the historic city centre and enjoy lunch at your leisure. In the afternoon, we continue to Austria, reaching Innsbruck nestled in the Alps. Here, there will be time to wander through the Old Town and the area surrounding the Golden Roof. Dinner is available in this atmospheric setting before we retire for the evening.
Day 4 - Innsbruck - Zurich
We begin the day with a visit to the Swarovski Museum, renowned for its exquisite crystal creations. Together, we’ll explore the impressive gardens and gain insight into the craftsmanship behind Swarovski’s renowned pieces. Afterwards, you’ll have some free time to wander around before we set off for Zurich, enjoying the scenic Tyrolean landscapes en route. Upon arrival in Zurich, spend the evening at your leisure in the historic city centre by the lake, where a diverse selection of restaurants offers Indian, Oriental, Italian, International and Swiss cuisine.
Day 5 - Zurich - Lucerne - Zurich
Today we travel through some of Switzerland’s most stunning scenery, with towering mountains and pristine lakes. Our first stop is Grindelwald in the Interlaken region, where we’ll pause for coffee before taking a cable car up the mountain. From there, we’ll walk along a winding path leading to a suspended bridge offering spectacular views of the surrounding glaciers. For those feeling adventurous, crossing the bridge is a memorable experience. Lunch is included on the mountain before we descend. Next, we visit Lucerne, one of Switzerland’s most picturesque cities, where you’ll have time to explore its charming streets and lakeside setting. In the evening, we return to Zurich. There is also an optional full-day excursion available: after some free time in Lucerne, we’ll take a rotating cable car to the summit of Mount Titlis. Standing over 3,000 metres above sea level, this alpine peak provides breathtaking views of the glaciers and Alps.
Day 6 - Zurich - Strasbourg - Paris
We depart Zurich and travel to the Alsace region of France, arriving in its capital, Strasbourg. This charming city reflects a unique blend of French and German cultures. You’ll have time to explore and familiarise yourself with the historic centre before we continue to Paris, arriving in the evening.
Day 7 - Paris
We begin the day with a visit to the impressive Palace of Versailles, known for its magnificent gardens and significant role in French history (admission not included). Returning to Paris, we explore Montmartre, a vibrant bohemian district famed for its artistic heritage and lively cabarets. To round off the day, we embark on a panoramic city tour with a local guide, covering Paris’s grand boulevards and iconic landmarks. After the tour, we return to the hotel. In the evening, you may choose to attend an optional variety show for a taste of Parisian nightlife.
Day 8 - Paris
We begin the day in central Paris with a visit to the iconic Eiffel Tower. You’ll have the opportunity to ascend to the second floor of this renowned landmark, with tickets included. Following this, we’ll take a leisurely boat cruise along the Seine, lasting around one hour and fifteen minutes, offering unique views of the city’s famous sights. The afternoon is yours to explore Paris independently at your own pace. Please note that transfers back to the hotel are not included in the afternoon. If there are lengthy queues at the Eiffel Tower, we may adjust the schedule to visit at a different time, possibly on Sunday, to ensure a smooth experience.
Day 9 - Paris
After breakfast, your tour concludes, and you will depart with lasting memories of your time in Paris and beyond.
