Day 1 - Prague
Welcome to Prague. Upon arrival at the airport, we will transfer you to your hotel. Please check the information boards in the hotel reception area for details about the welcome meeting with your guide. In the evening, we will take you to the Old Town Square, a lively hub filled with tourists and bustling activity. You can choose to dine at one of the many restaurants offering a variety of cuisines, including Czech, Chinese, Indian, and Italian. After dinner, we will provide transport back to the hotel.
Please note: This tour may have travellers joining or departing at various points along the route, meaning group composition can change during the tour.
Day 2 - Prague
Today we explore Prague, often called the Baroque jewel of Europe. Our local guide will lead a panoramic tour of the city’s most remarkable monuments, including a visit to Prague Castle – admission is included. We then enjoy a scenic boat ride on the Vltava River, also included. The afternoon is free for you to discover Prague at your own pace.
Day 3 - Prague - Munich - Innsbruck
We’ll set off early, travelling to Bavaria in Germany. Arriving in Munich by midday, you’ll have free time to explore the historic city centre and enjoy lunch at your leisure. In the afternoon, we continue to Austria and reach Innsbruck, nestled in the heart of the Alps. Here, you’ll have time to explore the charming Old Town and the famous Golden Roof area. There will also be an opportunity to enjoy dinner before the day concludes.
Day 4 - Innsbruck - Zurich
We begin the day with a visit to the Swarovski Museum in Innsbruck, renowned for its exquisite crystal creations. We’ll explore the impressive gardens and discover how Swarovski pieces are crafted. Afterwards, you’ll have some free time to wander the area before we set off for Zurich. The journey offers scenic views of the Tyrolean Alps along the way. On arrival in Zurich, spend the evening in the historic city centre by the lake, where you can choose from a wide range of restaurants serving Indian, Oriental, Italian, international and Swiss cuisine.
Day 5 - Zurich - Lucerne - Zurich
Today’s journey takes us through some of Switzerland’s most stunning alpine landscapes. We’ll begin in the Interlaken region, arriving first at Grindelwald where there will be time to enjoy a coffee before taking a cable car up the mountain. From the summit, we’ll follow a winding path leading to a suspended bridge, offering spectacular views of the surrounding glaciers—those feeling adventurous may choose to cross it. Lunch is included on the mountain before we descend and continue to Lucerne. Here, you’ll have free time to explore this charming city, known for its well-preserved medieval architecture and lakeside setting. Later, we’ll return to Zurich. For those who wish, the guide will offer an optional full-day excursion starting in the morning: after some free time in Lucerne, a rotating cable car ride to the summit of Mount Titlis is available. At over 3,000 metres, the alpine peak rewards visitors with breathtaking views of the glacier and the Alps.
Day 6 - Zurich - Bellinzona - Como - Milan
We leave Zurich early, crossing the Alps into the Italian-speaking region of Switzerland. Our first stop is Bellinzona, famed for its three medieval castles, designated UNESCO World Heritage Sites. These hilltop fortresses reflect the city’s historical role as a strategic alpine stronghold. You’ll have some free time to explore Bellinzona’s charming streets and local atmosphere. Continuing on, we cross into Italy and pause in the lakeside town of Como for lunch. Known as the jewel of Lombardy, Como is celebrated for its beautiful gardens and impressive cathedral. Later, we travel to Milan where our guide will lead you to the striking Piazza del Duomo. You’ll have time to wander before we transfer you to your hotel for the night.
Day 7 - Milan - Pisa - Rome
Today we travel from Milan to Pisa. Upon arrival, we take a short tourist train ride to the Piazza dei Miracoli, or Square of Miracles, where you’ll have time to admire one of Italy’s most remarkable art complexes, including the renowned Leaning Tower of Pisa. Later, we continue to Rome, arriving in the evening.
Day 8 - Rome
In the morning, we’ll take a three-hour guided tour of Rome, combining a walking route through Imperial Rome with a panoramic bus ride to see the city’s most important landmarks. Along the way, we’ll view the Arch of Constantine, the exterior of the Colosseum, the Imperial Forums, Circus Maximus, the Baths of Caracalla, the Basilica of Saint Mary Major, the Pyramid of Cestius, and Castel Sant’Angelo. The tour concludes at Vatican City around 11:00 a.m., where you can join an optional visit to the Vatican Museums and the Sistine Chapel. Later in the day, we’ll provide a transfer to Trastevere—a vibrant neighbourhood famed for its atmospheric restaurants. We’ll return to the hotel at approximately 8:30 p.m.
Day 9 - Rome - Madrid
We will transfer you to the airport at the time advised by your guide to catch your included domestic flight to Madrid. Upon arrival, you will be transferred to your hotel. Your guide will get in touch by the end of the afternoon, or you can check the hotel reception for further information. Please note that domestic flights typically allow one suitcase up to 20 kg in the hold; any excess baggage charges must be paid directly to the airline.
Day 10 - Madrid
We start the morning with a detailed tour of central Madrid, taking in key sights such as Paseo del Prado, Plaza de Cibeles, Neptune Fountain, Puerta de Alcalá, Plaza de Colón, and Plaza Mayor. Following this, we visit Retiro Park, the city’s green heart, where we’ll see the lake and the elegant Palacio de Cristal. Included in the morning is admission to Santiago Bernabéu Stadium, the iconic home ground of Real Madrid, often regarded as one of the world’s premier football clubs. The afternoon is free for you to explore at your own pace. In the evening, we provide a transfer back to the hotel for your convenience.
Day 11 - Madrid - Zaragoza - Poblet - Barcelona
We depart in the morning for the Aragon region, travelling through the historic lands of Castile. Our first stop is Zaragoza to admire the impressive Cathedral-Basilica of Our Lady of the Pillar, a significant pilgrimage site and outstanding example of Baroque architecture. We then continue to Poblet Abbey, one of the best-preserved medieval monasteries in Europe, where admission is included. After exploring the serene cloisters and grounds, we make our way to Barcelona, arriving in the evening.
Day 12 - Barcelona
We start the day with a panoramic tour of Barcelona, a vibrant city renowned for its striking modernist architecture by Gaudí and its lively atmosphere along La Rambla. Looking out to the Mediterranean, Barcelona’s history is shaped by its role as host to World Expositions and the Olympic Games, contributing to its unique charm and cultural heritage. The tour concludes at Maremagnum, a contemporary leisure and dining complex by the sea near Columbus Square, where you can enjoy a relaxed stroll. The afternoon is free for you to explore at your own pace before we return to the hotel later in the day.
Day 13 - Barcelona
After breakfast, the tour concludes, and you will have time to reflect on the memorable experiences from your journey. Safe travels as you continue onwards.
