This 12 day journey starts in Delhi and ends back in Delhi – a classic North India loop blending iconic sights, wildlife and rural life. You’ll explore Old and New Delhi, then visit Agra for the Taj Mahal, Agra Fort and the Baby Taj. Stay at a countryside fort near a bird filled lake – think sunsets and quiet villages. Chase big cat moments on Ranthambore safaris. In Bundi, expect painted palaces and ornate stepwells. Continue into the Aravalli hills for jeep safaris and a scenic local train ride. Swing by holy Pushkar before Jaipur’s Amber Fort, City Palace and colourful bazaars – with time to relax throughout.

Day 1 - New Delhi - Delhi
On arrival at Delhi airport, we’ll meet you, assist with formalities and transfer you to your hotel. Standard check-in is from 12:00 – early check-in is subject to room availability. The rest of the day is free for you to relax or explore at your own pace. Overnight at your hotel in Delhi.
Day 2 - Delhi
Delhi After breakfast at the hotel, we set out on a full-day tour of Old and New Delhi. In Old Delhi, we visit the Red Fort – the grand Mughal citadel – and Jama Masjid, one of India’s largest mosques. We weave through Chandni Chowk by cycle rickshaw and stop at Khari Baoli, the famous spice market. Later, we explore New Delhi’s landmarks, including the UNESCO-listed Qutab Minar and Humayun’s Tomb, the Lotus Temple, and the government quarter with President’s House, Parliament and India Gate. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 3 - Delhi - Agra
Delhi – Agra (204 kilometres – approximately 4 hours) After breakfast at the hotel, we drive to Agra and check in. In the afternoon, we take a city tour to visit the Taj Mahal, Agra Fort and the Tomb of Itmad-ud-Daula. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 4 - Agra
After breakfast at the hotel, we drive from Agra to Sapotara – about 200 kilometres – taking roughly four hours. On arrival, we check in at the 350-year-old Ramatra Fort in the countryside. The rest of the day is free – you can enjoy the activities offered by the hotel or simply relax. As the light fades, we take a sunset boat ride on Lake Kalisil, a haven for migratory birds. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 5 -
After breakfast at the hotel in Sapotara, we explore the local surroundings on guided visits to the village, cave temples and nearby gorges for a glimpse of rural Rajasthan. In the late afternoon, we drive to Ranthambore National Park – about 60 km and around one hour – and check in to the hotel. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.
Day 6 -
We take early morning and afternoon game drives by jeep or canter in Ranthambore National Park – keeping watch for tigers and other rare species. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are included at the hotel, where we stay overnight.
Day 7 - Bundi
After breakfast at the hotel, we visit Ranthambore Fort – once the royal hunting grounds of the Jaipur maharajahs until India’s Independence and a formidable stronghold central to Rajasthan’s history. Later we drive to Bundi – 150 km, around 3 hours – and take a guided tour of this rural gem. Overnight in Bundi.
Day 8 - Bundi
Bundi After breakfast at the hotel, we visit Taragarh Fort, a landmark from the 16th century noted for its intricate structures and a highly regarded painting gallery. We continue to the adjoining Garh Palace and Ummed Mahal – both renowned for outstanding paintings. Bundi is home to more than 50 stepwells, whose water levels rise and fall; we visit Rani Ki Ji Baori, the city’s most famous stepwell, built in 1699 by the spurned queen – 46 metres deep with 200 steps. The rest of the day is free – you can explore local villages and the rural surroundings, or simply relax on the jharoka of your suite and enjoy the landscape. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 9 - Bundi - Deogarh - Jojawar - Jodhpur - Udaipur
Bundi – Deogarh/Jojawar (225 kms – approx. 5 hrs). After breakfast, we drive to Deogarh or Jojawar, a small town that’s a hidden gem. On arrival, check in to the hotel and settle in. We then enjoy one of the activities organised by the hotel – either a jeep safari through the rural landscapes around Jojawar, with the ancient Aravalli Hills in the east and farms, scrub forest and rocky outcrops all around, where the camel herding Rabari community live; or a scenic local train ride on the Kambli Ghat Pass between the start of the hill section and Kambli Ghat, the highest station in the Aravallis. For the train excursion, we travel to and from the stations in a vintage Chevy, pause for tea and cucumber sandwiches at a small Forest Rest House, and are escorted throughout by a staff guide. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 10 - Deogarh - Jojawar - Pushkar - Jaipur
Deogarh/Jojawar to Pushkar to Jaipur – 315 km – approx. 6 hours by road. After breakfast at the hotel, we set out on a guided walk to explore the surrounding area – a great way to witness local life as it unfolds. We then drive to Jaipur via Pushkar, visiting Pushkar Temple and the bathing ghats en route. On arrival in Jaipur we check in at the hotel. In the evening you can explore the Pink City and browse its colourful bazaars – and, if you wish, round off the day with a Bollywood film at the opulent Rajmandir Cinema. Overnight in Jaipur.
Day 11 - Jaipur
After breakfast at the hotel, we visit Jaipur’s majestic Amer Fort, including a jeep ride at the fort, before continuing to Jaigarh Fort. Later, we tour the city, taking in the City Palace, the Observatory, the Palace of Winds, the Albert Hall Museum and the Birla Temple. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 12 - Jaipur - Delhi
After breakfast, we drive from Jaipur to Delhi (265 km – approximately 5 hours) and provide a direct drop off at the airport for your evening flight to your onward destination.
