Day 1 - Denpasar - Ubud
Arrive at Ngurah Rai International Airport in Denpasar, Bali’s bustling capital often called the ‘Island of 1,000 Temples’. You will be met by your guide and transferred to your hotel in the Ubud area. Ubud lies at the heart of the island and is renowned as Bali’s artistic hub, home to many celebrated local and international artists. Its relaxed atmosphere and creative spirit are evident throughout this charming village. Settle into your accommodation and enjoy your first evening in Ubud.
Day 2 - Ubud - Kintamani - Ubud
After breakfast at the hotel, we set off to visit Gunung Kawi temple in Tampak Siring village. This 11th-century archaeological site is carved into living rock and offers stunning views of the surrounding lush forests. To reach the temple, we descend approximately 315 stone steps, passing through striking rice terraces along the way. Next, we continue to Tirta Empul Temple, renowned for its sacred spring water where Balinese worshippers have gathered for over a thousand years. Here, you will see the traditional bathing pools featuring intricate Balinese designs. We then ascend to Kintamani for spectacular views over Lake Batur and the active Mount Batur volcano, surrounded by an impressive caldera. Lunch is served with this beautiful panorama as a backdrop. In the afternoon, we visit the ancient Elephant Cave, a 9th-century sanctuary historically used for spiritual meditation, offering insight into Bali’s sacred traditions. After the tour, we return to your hotel in Ubud for an overnight stay. Breakfast and lunch are included.
Day 3 - Ubud - Jatiluwih - Bedugul - Ubud
After breakfast at the hotel, we travel west to explore Tabanan regency, celebrated for its natural beauty. Arriving early at Jatiluwih, you will see the expansive rice terraces recognised as a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 2012, thanks to the traditional subak irrigation system. Next, we visit Candikuning market, a vibrant local spot offering fresh fruits, vegetables, spices and exotic flowers. After lunch at a nearby restaurant, we continue to Ulun Danu Temple, a striking water temple known for its tranquil setting and cultural importance. Later, we visit Alas Kedaton, a small forest home to hundreds of monkeys believed by locals to guard a well-preserved temple within. The day concludes with a visit to Tanah Lot, Bali’s iconic sea temple perched on a volcanic rock, where waves often crash dramatically against the shore. We then return to your hotel in Ubud for the evening. Breakfast and lunch are included.
Day 4 - Ubud - Guliang - Penglipuran - Legian - Kuta
In the morning, meet your local guide for a transfer to Guliang Kawan Village in central Bali. You will receive a warm welcome from the villagers and enjoy a simple Balinese breakfast at a local home, accompanied by coffee or tea. We then take a leisurely walk through the village streets to observe daily life and see how the community dedicates itself to their faith. You will learn to make Canang Sari, the traditional Balinese Hindu offering symbolising gratitude to the gods, before visiting the elderly who produce palm wine, known locally as tuak, with an opportunity to sample this customary drink. Next, visit a blacksmith’s workshop to see traditional tools being crafted, followed by a demonstration of how farmers create the distinctive hats commonly worn in the fields. Experience working alongside the farmers in the rice paddies, learning about planting, transplanting or harvesting rice depending on the season, while gaining insight into the Subak irrigation system—a UNESCO-recognised method of sustainable farming. Lunch is served in a hut overlooking the rice fields. In the afternoon, visit Penglipuran Village, renowned for preserving its traditional Balinese architecture, where houses and entrances line the streets in their original style. Afterwards, transfer to your hotel in Legian for check-in and enjoy the rest of the day at your leisure. Breakfast and lunch are included.
Day 5 - Kuta
Enjoy breakfast at your hotel before a day at leisure in Legian. Take the opportunity to relax by the pool, catch up on some reading, or simply unwind while listening to your favourite music. Overnight in Legian.
Day 6 - Legian - Uluwatu - Legian - Kuta
After breakfast at the hotel, enjoy a leisurely morning at your own pace. In the afternoon, we will drive to Uluwatu, a striking sea temple perched on Bali’s southernmost cliffs. This sacred site is home to a troop of monkeys regarded by locals as temple guardians. As the sun sets, experience the captivating Kecak dance performance, Bali’s most famous cultural show. Set against the glowing sky, the rhythmic chanting and dramatic storytelling depict the timeless tale of Rama and Shinta. After the performance, we will return to your hotel in Legian for the night.
Day 7 - Legian - Serangan - Senggigi - Batu Layar
After an early breakfast, we transfer you to Serangan Harbour for a two-hour speedboat journey to Bangsal on Lombok. Upon arrival, you will meet our local representative who will take you to your hotel in Senggigi. The rest of the day is yours to relax and enjoy at leisure. Overnight in Senggigi.
Day 8 - Batu Layar
After breakfast at the hotel, we travel to Selong Belanak beach, located in the south of Lombok, less than two hours from Senggigi. The journey takes you along winding roads through lush tobacco farms and dry hills. Selong Belanak is a pristine white-sand beach framed by green hills and facing the clear turquoise waters of the Indian Ocean. Here, you can relax on the soft sand or try your hand at surfing, as the beach is popular for this sport. A set-menu lunch is served at a local restaurant nearby. If you stay into the afternoon, you may witness the striking sight of buffaloes being herded along the shore—a memorable photo opportunity. We then return to your hotel in Senggigi for the evening. Breakfast and lunch are included.
Day 9 - Kecamatan Pemenang
After breakfast, we transfer by traditional boat from Lombok to Gili Trawangan, the most developed of the Gili Islands. Known for its clear waters and vibrant coral reefs, it offers excellent snorkelling opportunities among hundreds of tropical fish. We then continue to Gili Meno, where you can relax on the beach and enjoy the tranquil surroundings. Our final stop before returning to Lombok’s main island is Gili Air, another snorkelling paradise with pristine waters. We return to Gili Trawangan for your overnight stay.
Day 10 - Kecamatan Pemenang
After breakfast at the hotel, enjoy a day at your leisure on Gili Trawangan. Relax by the pool, read a book, or simply unwind in the peaceful surroundings. Overnight on Gili Trawangan.
Day 11 - Gili Trawangan - Serangan - Legian - Kuta
After an early breakfast at the hotel, we transfer you to Gili Trawangan pier by cidomo, a traditional horse-drawn cart, for your speedboat journey to Serangan, Bali. Upon arrival, you will meet your guide and transfer to your hotel in Legian. Check-in and enjoy the rest of the day at your leisure. Overnight in Legian.
Day 12 - Legian - Denpasar - Kuta
Enjoy breakfast at your hotel before meeting your guide for transfer to Denpasar airport. Here you will board your flight home, concluding your journey. Breakfast is included.
