Day 1 - Naples
Upon arrival in Naples, make your own way to the hotel and check in (an optional transfer is available). In the evening, join a small group tour to discover the vibrant culture and history of this southern Italian city. We begin along the scenic seafront, taking in views of the bay and the striking silhouettes of Castel Nuovo (Maschio Angioino) and Castel dell’Ovo. Next, we explore the city’s monumental district, home to landmarks such as Piazza Plebiscito, Palazzo Reale, Teatro San Carlo, and the elegant Galleria Umberto I. You’ll have some free time to wander this lively area at your own pace before the tour concludes in Naples’ historic centre. Here, enjoy an authentic Neapolitan pizza dinner accompanied by a refreshing drink. After the meal, the driver will return you to your hotel or designated pickup point for your overnight stay in Naples.
Day 2 - Naples
After breakfast, we collect you from the hotel for a day steeped in history. Begin with a small group tour of the Pompeii excavations, where you can wander through the ancient Roman streets lined with houses, amphitheatres and thermal baths. Many buildings still display original decorations, including the Villa of the Mysteries, the House of the Faun, the House of the Tragic Poet and the Villa of Diomedes. Following lunch, we visit another UNESCO World Heritage site – Herculaneum. Here, you can explore the well-preserved ruins and compare the differences between these two remarkable ancient cities, both frozen in time by the eruption of Mount Vesuvius. You have time to explore the alleyways and homes at your own pace before returning to Naples for the night.
Day 3 - Naples
After breakfast at the hotel, enjoy some free time to explore Naples at your own pace. In the afternoon, we will pick you up for a hands-on pizza-making experience—a true Neapolitan tradition. Guided by a skilled pizzaiolo, you will prepare your own pizza from scratch, learning each step from dough preparation to baking in a wood-fired oven. Once your pizza is ready, you can savour it alongside a refreshing drink and a three-course meal featuring an appetizer and dessert. To finish the day, take in stunning views of the Gulf of Naples or capture memorable photos from one of Posillipo’s most scenic viewpoints. Overnight in Naples.
Day 4 - Naples
After breakfast, enjoy some final moments in Naples. If time allows, take a last stroll to say farewell to the city or browse for souvenirs. Be sure to try one more sfogliatella, a traditional local pastry, before you leave. Transfers to the airport or train station can be arranged as an optional extra.
