After lunch and high tea, you continue into the forest on the mountain slopes of the Aberdare range, reaching your accommodation at around 7,000 feet, with dinner served buffet style. Known for high altitude game viewing, this is a spot where you may spot animals rarely seen elsewhere, including giant forest hog, bush pig, tree hyrax, large spotted genet and the elusive bongo.
Wildlife can be watched from an outdoor viewing area, where you can see, hear and smell the forest around you, or from inside over a cup of tea, warm and comfortable. Large animals are not the only entertainment, as a family of warthog dash off at speed before appearing to forget why they were running, stopping to regroup.
