Day 1 - Oslo
Welcome to Oslo! After your arrival, take some time to unwind and get acclimatised. Later in the afternoon, please check the information boards in the hotel lobby for details regarding the official start of your tour. Please be aware that as the tour progresses, various travellers may join or leave the group at different destinations. Despite these changes, rest assured that the maximum group size will always be maintained. Enjoy your initial moments in Oslo, a city known for its harmonious blend of natural beauty and vibrant urban life. Day 2 - Oslo - Orebro - Stockholm
Today, we begin with a guided panoramic tour of Oslo, the vibrant capital of Norway. This city beautifully contrasts modern architectural designs with classical buildings amidst picturesque scenery and expansive, sculpture-filled parks. It's no surprise that Oslo has earned the title of European Green Capital. Once the tour concludes, you'll have the opportunity to further explore the city at your leisure.As our adventure continues, we set off for Sweden, journeying through enchanting landscapes of forests and lakes. Our route leads us to Örebro, a historic town nestled beside a lovely lake, known for its impressive castle and quaint old town. Here, you can enjoy a leisurely stroll and soak up the charming atmosphere.We then press on to Stockholm, aiming to arrive by evening. Get ready for an exciting next chapter in this captivating city.
Day 3 - Stockholm
Today, we set out on a panoramic exploration of Stockholm, a stunning capital spread across 14 interconnected islands. Our tour includes a visit to Gamla Stan, famously known as 'the city between bridges.' This vibrant old quarter is home to remarkable landmarks such as the Nobel Prize Museum, which sits next to the main square, Stortorget, paying tribute to Nobel Prize laureates. We'll also see the historic Cathedral and the grand Royal Palace. Where possible, we'll soak in the breathtaking city views from the Fjällgatan viewpoint. After the tour, you'll have the rest of the day to explore at your leisure. We suggest visiting the city's many museums and parks, and you might choose to explore the City Hall or the Vasa Museum.
Day 4 - Stockholm - Stockholm - Turku Ferry
Spend your day exploring Stockholm at your leisure. This vibrant city, spread across 14 islands, offers a mix of history, culture, and modern flair. In the evening, we'll embark on an overnight journey to Finland aboard a contemporary ferry. You'll be comfortably accommodated in a double en-suite cabin, ensuring a restful night as we sail across the Baltic Sea.
Day 5 - Stockholm - Turku Ferry - Naantali - Helsinki
As we greet a new day, make your way to the ship's deck at dawn to absorb the awe-inspiring views as the ferry glides past the enchanting Åland Islands, a series of lush, forested isles. Upon disembarking in Turku, you'll have the opportunity to explore this culturally rich city, steeped in Swedish influences. Our journey carries on to Naantali, a delightful town renowned for its charming wooden houses lining the coast. By lunchtime, we will have made our way to Helsinki. In the afternoon, you're free to discover the city's attractions, from its bustling old market to the remarkable architecture of Russian-style buildings and stunning churches.
Day 6 - Helsinki
We will begin our day in Helsinki with an included boat trip to the Suomenlinna Islands. This group of six islands hosts an impressive fortress, a World Heritage Site, which once served to guard the city's entrance. You'll have the opportunity to explore the islands, connected by scenic pedestrian bridges. After our excursion, you'll have free time to continue your own explorations in Helsinki. As your journey concludes, you're sure to leave with cherished memories. Please ensure you check your flight schedule and consider whether an additional night's stay is necessary.
