Start in Madrid and finish in Seville on a six–day journey that blends culture, scenery and sunny southern charm. Kick off with a panoramic tour of Madrid – Paseo del Prado, Retiro and Plaza Mayor – plus included entry to the Santiago Bernabéu and a tapas–friendly evening in La Latina. Roll through La Mancha to Granada for time in the Albaicín and by the cathedral. Then it’s coastal views and cliffy Nerja, historic Málaga and gorge–spanning Ronda. Itinerary
Day 1 - Madrid
Welcome to Madrid. On arrival at the airport, we’ll transfer you to your hotel. You’ll then have free time until the tour begins – please check the information board at hotel reception for details of the welcome meeting with your guide and fellow travellers. In the evening, we’ll provide a transfer to Plaza Mayor and La Latina, Madrid’s best-known neighbourhoods for nightlife and tapas. You can choose where to dine, with plenty of options including Spanish, Indian, Chinese and Middle Eastern cuisines.
Please note: This tour may have travellers joining or departing at various points along the route, meaning group composition can change during the tour. Please also be aware that depending on group composition, guiding may be in additional languages as well as English.
Day 2 - Madrid
The morning begins with a panoramic tour of central Madrid, taking in Paseo del Prado, Cibeles, Neptuno, Puerta de Alcalá, Plaza de Colón and Plaza Mayor. We then head to Retiro Park to see the lake and the Palacio de Cristal. Admission is included to the Santiago Bernabéu Stadium – home of Real Madrid. You have the afternoon at leisure to explore at your own pace. In the evening, we provide a transfer back to the hotel.
Day 3 - Madrid - Granada
We depart Madrid early, driving south across La Mancha. We pause in Puerto Lápice, a classic Manchego village linked to Don Quixote, then continue through Despeñaperros into Andalusia to reach Granada, where lunch is included. The afternoon is free – you might visit the Cathedral, which houses the tombs of the Catholic Monarchs, or wander the Albaicín and take in Alhambra views from the Mirador de San Nicolás. Note: this tour does not include Alhambra admission. If you wish to visit, please book tickets via the official website https://tickets.alhambra-patronato.es or through companies that organise city visits.
Day 4 - Granada - Nerja - Malaga - Ronda - Seville
We leave Granada and travel through spectacular landscapes as we cross the Sierra Nevada, then follow the Mediterranean along the Tropical Coast – a region with a mild year‑round microclimate where guavas, mangoes and avocados thrive, and where sugar cane was once grown. We stop in Nerja, a charming seaside town known for its impressive cliffs.We continue to Málaga, the capital of the Costa del Sol, lively and with a beautiful historic centre. You’ll have time for lunch and a relaxed stroll through the centre. Afterwards, we head into the Andalusian sierras to reach Ronda, a stunning white town famed for the dramatic gorge that divides it. We then continue to Seville, arriving in the late afternoon – dinner is included at the hotel.
Day 5 - Seville
In the morning, we explore Seville on a guided tour, taking in the Cathedral with its Giralda tower, the banks of the Guadalquivir, and the historic neighbourhoods of Santa Cruz and riverside Triana. After the tour, we enjoy an included boat ride on the Guadalquivir – a relaxed way to take in panoramic views of the city from the water. In the evening, you can choose to attend a flamenco tablao.
Day 6 - Seville
After breakfast, we conclude our journey in Seville – our services end here. You can organise your onward travel from the city and depart at a time that suits you.
