Itinerary

Day 1 - Arrival in Bangkok

Upon arrival in Bangkok, you will be greeted at the airport and transferred to our accommodation in the heart of the city. You will have the rest of the day at leisure to explore Bangkok at your own pace, relax at the hotel, or get to know your fellow travellers. Later, we will join our group for a welcome dinner at 7 PM.

Please note: This tour is designed for younger travellers looking to meet like-minded people. The average age on this tour is around 25 - 35, and in most cases we are unfortunately unable to take any travellers over the age of 49. Day 2 - Exploring Bangkok

Today, we will explore Bangkok from a fresh angle with a leisurely cruise on a long-tail boat through the city’s centre. We will glide past charming riverside neighbourhoods, traditional wooden homes on stilts, and lively floating markets, offering a fascinating glimpse into local life.

Afterwards, we'll visit some of Bangkok's most revered temples, where intricate carvings, gleaming golden statues, and serene courtyards tell stories of the city’s rich history and spiritual traditions. Next, we will enjoy an exciting tuk-tuk ride through the bustling streets. The evening is at leisure for you to head out and explore.

Day 3 - Thai Cooking Class & Overnight Train

This morning, we’ll dive into the vibrant flavours of Thailand as we embark on an authentic cooking class, learning the art of creating mouthwatering Thai dishes. From selecting fresh ingredients to mastering traditional techniques, we’ll experience the heart of Thai cuisine firsthand.

Afterwards, we’ll unwind on an overnight train journey south, watching Thailand’s scenery shift from Bangkok’s bustling cityscape to the peaceful countryside, with rice paddies, villages, and winding rivers setting a serene backdrop.

Day 4 - Long Tail Boat to Khao Sok National Park

Bangkok - Khao Sok National Park. Today, upon arriving in Khao Sok, we’ll navigate through towering limestone cliffs in a long-tail boat to reach a pristine freshwater lake. There, we’ll spend the night in floating bungalows, immersed in the beauty and tranquillity of nature.

You’ll have the chance to immerse yourself in exciting activities like kayaking through crystal-clear waters, tubing along scenic rivers, and spotting playful monkeys in their natural habitat.

Day 5 - Rainforest Adventure

Today, we journey deeper into the untouched rainforest, immersing ourselves in local life as we visit a sustainable family farm, where we’ll learn about their way of living. After, we’ll change into our swimsuits for a tubing experience down the gentle current of the river, or can choose instead to embark on a jungle trek through the jungle, all leading us to our unique treehouse retreat for the night.

Day 6 - Khao Sok to Koh Phangan

Khao Sok - Koh Phangan. This morning, we will enjoy the picturesque journey to the island of Koh Phangan, famous for its vibrant Full Moon parties. Beyond the lively celebrations, the island is known for its stunning beaches, lush jungles, and serene lagoons, offering the perfect blend of natural beauty and vibrant nightlife.

Once we have arrived, you can settle into our stunning beachside bungalows, unwind by the pool, enjoy yoga or take in your first island sunset by the beach.

Day 7 - Exploring Koh Phangan & Beach BBQ

Day 8 - Mauy Thai, Yoga Class & Nightlife

Today, you can choose between diving into the intense and exhilarating art of Muay Thai boxing, where you’ll learn powerful techniques and gain insight into this traditional martial art, or finding balance and tranquillity with a private yoga class, allowing you to unwind and centre yourself amidst the island’s peaceful surroundings.

Afterward, we’ll head out for our final night on Koh Phangan, where you can immerse yourself in the vibrant nightlife, from lively beach bars to exciting nightclubs, offering a memorable end to your stay on this lively island.

Day 9 - Koh Phangan to Phi Phi Island

Koh Phangan - Phi Phi Islands. Today, we will depart from Koh Phangan early in the morning and embark on a scenic journey by bus and boat to the stunning island of Phi Phi. As we travel, we’ll pass through crystal-clear waters, with views of small islands and dramatic coastlines. The boat ride offers a relaxing escape, with gentle sea breezes and panoramic views of the turquoise ocean.

By the late afternoon, we’ll arrive in Phi Phi, where we’ll check into our guesthouse. Afterwards, we’ll head out for dinner, enjoy refreshing drinks, and enjoy the lively atmosphere of a beach party.

Day 10 - Phi Phi Islands Speedboat Trip

We will embark on an incredible speedboat journey around the breathtaking Phi Phi Leh, discovering hidden lagoons, sunbathing on glorious white sandy beaches, and snorkelling in the crystal-clear waters. Today will feel like paradise. Later, we’ll indulge in a delicious dinner and enjoy a few drinks under the stars for an unforgettable experience.

Day 11 - Hiking & Transfer to Phuket

Phi Phi Islands - Phuket. Today, we will enjoy a hike to the iconic viewpoints on Phi Phi Island, around the stunning paradise, we will then stop at some of the stunning beaches. You can snorkel in the crystal-clear waters before we catch a boat heading for Phuket.

Day 12 - Elephant Sanctuary Visit

Today, we’ll spend the day with Thailand’s most sacred animal - elephants. We’ll get up close and personal with the gentle giants at a sanctuary for rescued elephants, learning about their history and the care and protection they receive. We’ll treat you to dinner and drinks tonight.

Day 13 - Phuket to Hanoi, Vietnam

Phuket - Hanoi (Vietnam). Today, we will say farewell to Thailand and hello to Vietnam! Upon landing in Hanoi, we will escort you to our accommodation. You can spend the afternoon unwinding and observing the unique differences between Vietnam and Thailand!

The bustling chaos of Hanoi’s motorbikes to the distinct flavours of Vietnamese cuisine, like pho and bánh mì, contrasting with Thailand’s spicy curries. Take in Vietnam’s French colonial architecture, so different from Thailand’s ornate temples and golden spires. Embrace the unique sights, sounds, and aromas that make Vietnam so captivating!

Day 14 - Hanoi Walking & Rickshaw Tour

Day 15 - Limousine to Sapa & Trek

Hanoi - Sapa. This morning, we’ll travel by limousine bus to the picturesque rolling hills of Sapa. In the evening, we will stay with a local family, where you’ll have the chance to learn about their daily life and traditions over a shared dinner and perhaps a sip of rice wine. It’s an intimate and enriching glimpse into the culture of this beautiful region.

Day 17 - Sapa at Leisure & Transfer to Hanoi

Sapa - Hanoi. You can explore Sapa at your leisure or you can choose to opt for a cable car ride to Fan Si Pan peak, where you’ll be rewarded with breathtaking views. This evening, we’ll travel back to Hanoi on our comfortable limousine bus, settling in for a relaxing journey as we leave the tranquility of the mountains behind and head towards the vibrant capital.

Hanoi - Halong Bay. Today, we will travel from Hanoi to uncover the breathtaking natural beauty of Ha Long Bay. As we cruise on the striking emerald green waters, we'll be surrounded by towering limestone karsts and lush rainforests, creating a truly picturesque setting.

We’ll have the opportunity to kayak through hidden caves and explore secluded coves, immersing yourself in the serene landscape. Later, you can relax and savour refreshing drinks aboard your overnight boat, enjoying the tranquility of the bay as the sun sets over the horizon.

Next, we’ll take a scenic local rowboat trip, gently navigating along rivers and through captivating caves, immersing ourselves in the serene beauty of the landscape.

Afterward, we’ll climb to the famous Dragon Mountain Viewpoint, where we’ll be rewarded with breathtaking panoramic views of the surrounding countryside. As the day comes to an end, we’ll board the overnight train, making our way south towards the charming town of Hoi An.

Day 21 - Exploring Hoi An

In the morning, we’ll arrive in Hoi An, one of Vietnam’s most captivating and picturesque towns, known for its charming blend of ancient streets, vibrant colours, and rich history. As we step into the town, we’ll immediately be taken by its unique atmosphere, where every corner seems to tell a story.

In the afternoon, you’ll have free time to explore at your own pace, whether it’s relaxing by the riverside, shopping for handcrafted treasures, or perhaps having some clothes tailored by one of the skilled local seamstresses, a tradition Hoi An is famous for.

Day 22 - Vietnamese Cooking Class & Lantern boat

Today, we’ll join local fishermen as they guide us through lush coconut groves, showing us the ancient art of crab fishing in the serene waters. Afterward, we’ll dive into the rich flavours of Vietnam, learning the secrets behind preparing traditional dishes in an authentic cooking class. This evening, we will enjoy our food and the lights of Hoi An while we cruise on a Lantern boat.

Day 23 - Lantern Making & Beach Time

Today, we’ll get creative and craft our very own Vietnamese lantern, embracing the art and tradition behind this colourful symbol. Afterward, we’ll take a short bike ride to unwind with a relaxing beach day, soaking up the sun and enjoying a delicious lunch at a trendy beach club, where the sound of the waves sets the perfect backdrop.

Day 24 - Hoi An to Ho Chi Minh City

Hoi An - Ho Chi Minh City. This morning, we will make our way to the airport for our flight from Hoi An to Ho Chi Minh City, once we have arrived, we will transfer to our accommodation. Once you have checked in, we will meet with our group for dinner, afterward, we will make our way to a rooftop bar for a night out.

Day 25 - Mekong Delta Exploration

Ho Chi Minh City - The Mekong Delta. We will make our way from Ho Chi Minh City to the Mekong Delta, where we’ll immerse ourselves in the lush, vibrant landscapes and experience the unique rhythms of local life. As we visit nearby villages, we’ll witness the daily activities on the river, from bustling floating markets to traditional fishing methods. The day will end with a peaceful night spent at our local homestay in the heart of this tranquil, scenic region, surrounded by nature’s beauty.

Day 26 - Cu Chi Tunnels Exploration

The Mekong Delta - Ho Chi Minh City. Today, we’ll explore the Cu Chi Tunnels, an incredible network of underground passageways that once served as supply routes, hideouts, and living quarters during the Vietnam War. After discovering the secrets of this historical site, we’ll return to Ho Chi Minh City in the afternoon, where we’ll come together for a farewell dinner and party to celebrate our journey.

But these trains are one of the best ways to get around this enormous country, and are a fun and unique experience. You will share a 4-berth cabin, usually with other members of the tour group, but not always. You will have your own bed (top or bottom bunk) and there are shared bathrooms and air-conditioning in the cabin. Large windows help you take in the view.
