At 46 metres long and 15 metres high, the statue is the largest in Bangkok and depicts the Buddha entering nirvana. Within the complex we see the Funeral Palace, Reception Palace, Throne Hall, Coronation Hall, Royal Guesthouse and Wat Phra Kaew, the Temple of the Emerald Buddha.
