Day 1 - London
Welcome to London! Upon arrival, you will be transferred to your hotel, providing an opportunity to unwind and explore the city at your leisure. Later this afternoon, information about the commencement of your tour will be made available on the notice boards situated at the hotel reception. Enjoy this time to get a taste of London's vibrant atmosphere and perhaps take a leisurely stroll, allowing the excitement of your journey to begin. Please note: This tour may have travellers joining or departing at various points along the route, meaning group composition can change during the tour. Please also be aware that depending on group composition, guiding may be in additional languages as well as English.
Day 2 - London
Start your day exploring London with a captivating panoramic tour guided by a local expert. We’ll introduce you to the city’s rich tapestry of culture and history as you pass iconic landmarks like the Houses of Parliament, the serene River Thames, and Buckingham Palace. Depending on the timing, you might catch the impressive Changing of the Guard ceremony. As the evening falls, we’ll meet at our designated point in Piccadilly to embark on a stroll through some of London's most vibrant areas – Leicester Square, Chinatown, and Soho. Known for their dynamic theatre scene and vibrant nightlife, these neighbourhoods offer a wealth of experiences. You’ll have the freedom to choose from an array of dining options before we regroup and make our way back to the hotel.
Day 3 - London - Colchester - Colchester - Volendam Ferry
We begin the morning with a visit to the British Museum, one of the oldest and most prestigious museums in the world, offering an inspiring glimpse into cultures from across the globe. After some free time for lunch, we head towards Camden, a vibrant district famous for its eclectic street market. Here, you can explore an array of unique items and enjoy a meal at one of the many small restaurants or food stalls. At around 4:00 p.m., we depart for Colchester, the oldest recorded town in England, where we enjoy a leisurely walk through its historic streets. We then continue to Harwich to embark on an overnight ferry to the Netherlands, staying in en suite cabins. Do note that due to limited cabin availability on the ferry, the itinerary may vary. We might instead travel from London to Amsterdam via a daytime ferry, stay overnight in Antwerp, or alternatively, take a train or flight to Amsterdam.
Day 4 - Colchester - Volendam Ferry - Volendam - Amsterdam
We arrive at Hoek van Holland around eight in the morning and make our way to Volendam, a delightful fishing village known for its traditional charm and picturesque landscape. After soaking in the serene atmosphere, we head to Amsterdam, where a guided city tour awaits. This exploration will take us past some of the city’s iconic sights, including a charming windmill and the Rembrandt statue, alongside the modern flair of the South District and the historical craft of diamond cutting at Museum Square. The tour concludes with a stroll into the heart of Amsterdam, allowing you to experience its vibrant energy firsthand. After the tour, you'll have some free time to delve deeper into Amsterdam's offerings at your own pace.
Day 5 - Amsterdam - Hamelin - Berlin
As we begin our journey from Amsterdam, we set forth towards Germany, starting with a visit to Hamelin, a delightful German town filled with charm. Hamelin's enchanting streets and shops bring the famous fairy tale of the Pied Piper to life, adding a touch of whimsy to our exploration. After enjoying the allure of Hamelin, we continue our journey to Berlin, the vibrant capital of Germany. En route, we cross through Marienborn, once the pivotal border dividing East and West Germany until 1990. Day 6 - Berlin
Today, we delve into the vibrant culture of Berlin, Germany’s dynamic capital, with an insightful tour guided by a local expert. On our coach journey, you'll catch glimpses of Museum Island, the towering Television Tower, bustling shopping streets, the remnants of the old cathedral destroyed during World War II, and iconic sites like the Brandenburg Gate and the Reichstag, all nestled amidst the city's expansive parks. Our exploration also includes visits to two significant sites: the Holocaust Memorial and the Berlin Wall Memorial Museum, poignant reminders of Germany's complex 20th-century history. Day 7 - Berlin - Dresden - Prague

As one of Germany’s premier tourist spots, you’ll have ample opportunity to explore its magnificent palaces and enjoy lunch in one of the city's inviting restaurants or charming coffee shops. Later, we set off for the Czech Republic, arriving in the enchanting city of Prague. In the evening, we venture to the vibrant Old Town Square, bustling with energy and various activities – an ideal introduction to this captivating city. With a diverse selection of international cuisines on offer, including Czech, Chinese, Indian, and Italian, you will find the perfect dinner spot before we make our way back to the hotel.
Day 8 - Prague
Today, we will delve into the heart of Prague, the captivating capital of the Czech Republic, celebrated for its Baroque architecture and enchanting streets. Our day begins with an insightful panoramic tour led by a knowledgeable local guide, who will take us to view the city's most prominent landmarks. Our journey continues in the afternoon as we make our way to Austria. Nestled amidst the stunning scenery of the Alps, Innsbruck, the capital of Tyrol, awaits your exploration. You'll have time to admire the charming Old Town and enjoy dinner in the area around the Golden Roof, a landmark that reflects the city’s rich history.
Day 10 - Innsbruck - Salzburg
Today, we begin our day with a visit to the Swarovski Museum, where admission is included. Renowned for its dazzling crystal creations, the museum offers a fascinating insight into the craftsmanship behind these exquisite pieces. After exploring the museum's impressive gardens, you'll have a chance to wander through the historic centre of Innsbruck at your own leisure. Later, our journey continues through scenic mountain roads to Kitzbühel. Famous for its year-round ski facilities, this charming Tyrolean town hosts the prestigious Hahnenkamm Race, a thrilling event in alpine skiing. As the day progresses, we will reach Salzburg by evening.
Day 11 - Salzburg - Lake Traunsee - Vienna
Today, we immerse ourselves in Austria's enchanting landscapes and rich history, beginning our day in Salzburg, the birthplace of Mozart. As we explore the city, take in the splendour of its Renaissance and Baroque architecture, nestled beautifully beneath the imposing fortress. Our journey then takes us through the picturesque terrain of lakes and mountains, arriving at St. Wolfgang, an esteemed pilgrimage destination in Austria.Next, we head to the tranquil shores of Traunsee Lake in Traunkirchen, where a delightful cruise awaits us. On the water, we'll marvel at four stunning castles that line the lake's periphery before landing in the charming town of Gmunden. Following this scenic experience, we continue our travel to Vienna, the capital of Austria, arriving in the evening and poised for new adventures.
Day 12 - Vienna
Today, we set out on a captivating panoramic tour of Vienna, accompanied by a knowledgeable local guide. We'll explore the city's grand avenues, marvel at the beautiful palaces, and unwind in its expansive parks.
