Itinerary
Day 1 - Hanoi to Halong Bay

Hanoi - Hai Duong - Halong Bay. Arrive in Hanoi the day before the start of the tour. You'll be picked up from your accommodation in the Hanoi Old Quarter between 7:45 am and 8:15 am, departing at around 8:45 am for Halong Bay. Travelling east towards the coast, we make a brief stop of around 20-30 minutes in Hai Duong Province before continuing to Tuan Chau Harbour, where we board our overnight cruise.
After settling into our cabins, we set sail into Halong Bay - one of Southeast Asia's most iconic seascapes, defined by its dramatic limestone karsts rising from calm waters. Lunch is served as we cruise, featuring traditional Vietnamese dishes with front-row views of the bay.
This afternoon, we spend around an hour exploring Sung Sot Cave, one of the largest caves in Halong Bay, before continuing to Titop Island for approximately an hour. Here, you can climb to the viewpoint for sweeping views across the bay or take a swim from the sandy beach.
Back on board, we gather on the sundeck for our Welcome Sunset Party - drinks in hand as the bay turns gold around us. We then head to a cooking demonstration to learn how to make a traditional Vietnamese fresh noodle roll before sitting down to dinner as evening settles over the water.
Later, the evening is yours - try squid fishing, join a karaoke session, play games on board, or simply unwind.
Please note: The itinerary may vary due to weather or operational conditions, and swimming at Titop Island is subject to weather conditions and seasonality. The cruise operator will determine which site is visited based on conditions on the day.
Day 2 - Halong Bay to Hanoi

Halong Bay - Hai Duong - Hanoi. We rise early to watch the sunrise from the sundeck, taking in the morning views across the bay with a cup of tea or coffee before breakfast is served.
We then visit a pearl farm to learn about Halong's pearl farming industry - one of the most renowned in Vietnam - where the cultivation and harvesting process can take many years. Afterwards, you can head out kayaking to explore the bay from the water, weaving between the limestone karsts at your own pace.
Back on board, we check out of our cabins and continue cruising through the bay before sitting down to a final lunch as we make our way back towards Tuan Chau Harbour. We disembark at around 12:00 pm, saying goodbye to the crew as our cruise comes to an end.
We depart for Hanoi at around 12:30 pm, making a brief stop in Hai Duong Province along the way. We arrive back in Hanoi at approximately 4:30 pm, where our tour comes to an end. You can then make your way to the airport for your onward flight. Safe travels!
Please note: The visit to Pearl Farm Village is subject to weather conditions and seasonality. The cruise operator will determine which site is visited based on conditions on the day.
