I just don't sleep well on a train, personal preference only.

As I was only one on tour and water rafting scheduled on tour itinerary not available. The guide and driver agreed to take me to hellfire pass instead. I was so grateful and appreciated their consideration. Hard mattress in all hotels. Seems standard for Thailand though. Everything about tour was perfect. Can’t praise them and their staff highly enough.
