Day 1 - Vienna
Upon arrival in Vienna, we will transfer you to your hotel where you can settle in and enjoy some free time at your leisure. In the afternoon, you will find all the necessary information to begin your tour displayed on the notice boards at the hotel reception. This allows you to familiarise yourself with the schedule and prepare for the days ahead.
Please note: This tour may have travellers joining or departing at various points along the route, meaning group composition can change during the tour.
Day 2 - Vienna
Today, we begin with a panoramic tour of Vienna led by a local guide. We’ll take in the city’s grand boulevards, elegant palaces, expansive parks and lively central districts, gaining a clear sense of its architectural and cultural highlights. In the afternoon, you’ll have free time to explore at your own pace. In the evening, we provide a transfer to the Grinzing district—once a separate wine-growing village and now part of the city—famous for its traditional taverns. You can enjoy dinner here at your leisure, sampling local flavours in an authentic setting.
Day 3 - Vienna - Budapest
We’ll travel for approximately three hours to reach Budapest, Hungary’s vibrant capital. On arrival, you’ll have free time for lunch in the bustling Váci utca area, known for its lively shops and cafés. Afterwards, we’ll enjoy a boat trip along the Danube River, offering unmatched views of historic Buda on one side and modern Pest on the other. Following the cruise, we’ll embark on a panoramic tour of Budapest, often called the “Queen of the Danube,” taking in its key sights. You’ll then have some free time to explore at your own pace. In the evening, there is an optional excursion to a traditional Magyar show, which includes dinner.
Day 4 - Budapest - Bratislava - Prague
We leave Budapest early and travel to Bratislava, the capital of Slovakia, situated along the Danube with a charming historic centre. You’ll have time to explore the city and enjoy lunch at your leisure. Later, we continue to Prague in the Czech Republic, arriving in the evening. Upon arrival, we provide a transfer to Old Town Square, the heart of the city, where you can soak up the lively atmosphere and choose from a wide range of restaurants offering international cuisine, including Czech, Chinese, Indian, and Italian options. Afterwards, we’ll return to the hotel for the night.
Day 5 - Prague
Today, we explore Prague, the Baroque gem of Europe. A local guide will take us on a panoramic tour, showcasing the city’s most remarkable landmarks. We will visit Prague Castle, with admission included, before enjoying a relaxing boat ride along the Vltava River. In the afternoon, you will have free time to discover the city at your own pace.
Day 6 - Prague - Pilsen - Rothenburg - Frankfurt
We depart early from Prague and travel to Pilsen in western Bohemia, a city famed for its beer heritage. You’ll have time to explore the historic centre, including the Old Town Square, cathedral, Plague Column, and Renaissance-style town hall. Afterwards, we cross into Germany to follow part of the Romantic Road, arriving in Rothenburg – a beautifully preserved medieval town often regarded as one of the country’s most picturesque villages. In the evening, we continue to Frankfurt, Germany’s financial hub. Upon arrival, you’ll have free time to enjoy the historic city centre, with a wide selection of restaurants offering Indian, Asian, Italian, and international cuisine.
Day 7 - Frankfurt - Cruise on the Rhine - Cologne - Amsterdam
Today we embark on a scenic cruise along the most picturesque stretch of the Rhine River, travelling between the charming villages of Rüdesheim and St. Goar. After enjoying the river’s stunning landscapes, we continue to Cologne, famous for its impressive Gothic cathedral that dominates the city skyline. From there, we proceed to the Netherlands, arriving in Amsterdam by evening.
Day 8 - Amsterdam
Today we visit some of the Netherlands’ most picturesque locations—the Holland of your dreams. We begin at Zaanse Schans, famed for its charming houses, canals and traditional windmills. Next, we head to Volendam, a scenic fishing village where you can enjoy the waterfront atmosphere. From Volendam, we take a short boat ride to Marken, once an island and now connected to the mainland by a dike. Marken’s houses were traditionally built on stilts to protect against flooding. In the afternoon, we return to Amsterdam for a guided tour featuring key highlights: the iconic windmill and Rembrandt statue, the modern elegance of the South District, and the historic art of diamond cutting at Museum Square. The bus journey ends as we enter the city centre on foot, leaving you free to explore Amsterdam’s famous canals, markets and cafés at your leisure.
Day 9 - Amsterdam
After breakfast, your tour concludes, leaving you with lasting memories of your journey. You may choose to continue exploring Amsterdam at your own pace or prepare for your onward travel.
